MTech is not mandatory. It's better to get prior training at good VLSI institutes to maximize job prospects. It also helps lay a good foundation when you pursue MS in the USA and apply for jobs thereafter.

What specific stream do you want to specialize in? What's your interest area? If you have two years gap- what Ihave you done in those two years to upskill yourself? These are the questions admission committees, Visa interviewers, and future employers will ask. If you don't have answers for these, I don't think going to US is suggested

It is a good school and location for MS CM. If you have decent profile you can look at applying to other reputed programs as well.

Its honestly not my favourite because it costs way more than it should. There are many other well reputed programs that come at 2/3 rds the price. If cost is not a concern for you, then its an ok university.

I had 3 backlogs . All are cleared . I am thinking of applying for US universities . The thing is that my college typically doesn't mention backlogs if they are cleared . Is there any provision of backlog certificate in US universities ? If yes do most of them ask for that ?

MS Data Science is an over-subscribed degree and unless you're really good at it, I wouldn't suggest it. I would recommend MS Supply Chain Management, but the degree needs some pre-requisites, specifically in mathematics. For personalized application guidance- +918125322444

@DrRajusConsultancy Yes, we had analog and digital analysis courses, and we had courses on Mosfet. I do not have any research experience on VLSI, but I do have publications on antenna designing, which is related to RF and microwave engineering.

I live and work in the IT industry/Cybersecurity in the USA; There is NO current recession in the USA. Just because Indian students can not find jobs after MS, one can not conclude that there is a recession in USA. Masters is worth it, only if the student seeks good quality US education, and not an immediate high-paying US job.

Well said. If not recession - there is definitely a huge economic slowdown, specifically in the IT sector. However, well-skilled students graduating from good-quality universities are able to find jobs.

Courses like Health Informatics, Health Data Science, Bioinformatics etc are far better than pure Business Analytics degrees. You should look at gaining Data Analytics and Data Science skills rather that pursuing Business Analytics. They are too many people pursuing these degrees (BA) + they are sensitive to being automated. Hope that helps

Academic grades do matter. Whether its a backlog or a low score, admission teams look at it. However, depending on the course and university that suits your requirements, you can still mange to get into nice public universities. For guidance- +918125322444

Hey if you're budget is low I wouldn't recommend a Master's in Cybersecurity- which is way too expensive for you. I would rather suggest finishing up strong industry recognized certification courses in Cyber Security which come at a fraction of the price and increase your chances of getting a job. All the best

Hi, Thanks for covering this video. No other analyst done for vlsi. My daughter is planning for MS in digital VLSI and she looking for universities particulalry good at FRONT END RTL/ASCI DESIGN /DV. As u know,The reason is vlsi is vast field and some universities are good at backend like PD. I am doing research behalf her and helping her. She is planning for 2026 fall. I know it ks too early but i want her to finalise top 10 universities so that applicaion processing will be smoother. Can u suggest top 10 universiites for digital vlsi front end?

Depends on your profile. In general California is a good place to study VLSI but competition for jobs is also pretty high.

Business Analytics is an over-subscribed degree, with lot of competition for very few jobs. Unless you have good prior work-ex, I wouldn't suggest. Look out for alternatives.

Maths (Calculus, Prob Stats etc) + Few Bio & Chemistry subjects + Programming Basics. However remember, Pre-Reqs change from university to University. Some might require additional pre-reqs and some are more lenient.

For Bioinformatics you need some Undergraduate coursework in Mathematics and Programming - so it'll be difficult for MMBS students to get a direct admit. You could look at MS Health Informatics- which is more relevant. For guidance- +918125322444
