MSC Seascape: Not the Day we Hoped For | Terrible Experience in Grand Cayman | Cayman Turtle Center

Join us on day 5 of our sailing of the MSC Seascape for the Melanin At Sea 2.0 Group Cruise hosted by: ‪@aRICHandJAZZYLife‬ and ‪@AddyandTerry‬. We are sailing out of Miami, Florida on an eventful 7 day journey to MSC's private island Ocean Cay, Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. Today we have made it to our 3rd port of the trip, Grand Cayman. We woke up to some disappointing news about our excursion so we weren't quite sure of what we would be doing while visiting. Trying to get back on the ship had to be the most frustrating process we've ever experience on a cruise which set the tone for the remainder of our evening.

Hey guys. Oh no. The excursion was cancelled? Sorry bout that. Oh wait. Y’all was cancelled; not the entire excursion. That sucks. And tenders suck. If we’ve been there already; we stay on the ship. And now rain ☔️? 🤦‍♀️. It worked out. Oh he woke up 🙌🏼. Turtle 🐢 💩 😂😂😂. 🦈 feeding? Loving all your background music. That wait back does look insane. Cute setup with the toys. Oh I’m like Dee. I will fall asleep. Honestly I really feel MAS made this cruise. Just like Fain and Laura Travel Spree on the Icon again doing a back to back and without their fellow KZbin creator friends and family it’s a whole different vibe. Yea it was canceled for what sounds like a mistake by msc and they tried to cover it up. This may be one of the ports we will have to stay on the ship from now on. Yes glad he woke up because he was excited to see the turtles. Ohhh please don't get me started on that wait. It was a wave of emotions. Frustration, angry, upset, anxious, nervous. I was all over the place . Yes i agree. this group made the trip 100%. Glad we weren't on there alone.

That sounds like a horrible experience to start with. Poor PJ...he like, "This is a lot to see some dog gone turtles!!" Man that tender process sounds like a complete mess! Ocha out here game show shaming...smh. Great vlog y'all. Hopefully MSC get it together before they hit Galveston. So looking forward to that!!

Yea but we some how adjusted and made it work. Lucky to find that stand tucked off in the corner. It was straight chaos and so unorganized. Another plan, more tenders, or less ships in port. Somethings gotta shake. The show was ok, like we said just do a better job of matching voices with the right songs. Thanks for watching.

😮, On second thoughts, I think I will not book an excursion for this one and stay on the ship, explore, watch, eat, drink and create content. I believe this is the same itinerary for our March sailing. No thanks! Glad you guys made it back on time.

You should be ok if you book an excursion through the cruise line. Also I'd advise you to see what all ships will be in port. It was just extremely crowded that day for us. 4 ships was just too much.

@YuriR476 they do have that option and people did swim with them. We were just limited time so we chose not to purchase that option when we arrived at the turtle center.

I was on NCL Prima a couple weeks ago and this ship docked next to ours. Would like to try a MSC cruise soon.

MSC's ships are very gorgeous. Since they are privately owned there are some differences you'll experience with them compared to other cruise lines. Not sure if you work with a travel advisor or not, but we'd love to help answer any questions you have get you set up with MSC whenever you are ready. 😁 [e-mail]

We did! We went to Ocho Rios on this same sailing and had a great time.
