MSFS 2020 | Aerosoft CRJ CUSTOM VIEWS [Full TUTORIAL for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020]

In this video tutorial, I will show you how to set custom views for the Aerosoft CRJ 700 in Microsoft Flight Simulator!
I'll take you through each step bit by bit, and demonstrate how I set all of my views that you'll see in livestreams! Once set, I'll then show you how to set the camera.cfg back to normal and reset the views again to be sure they are set where we want them!
Make sure you follow the steps carefully when changing configuration files. If you want to set custom views for the Aerosoft CRJ550 for MSFS, then you would repeat the same steps but using the files relevant to that aircraft within the package.

The line where you subtract 40 (eyepoint) is not in my CRJ 700 camera.cfg file. I have the marketplace version. Any suggestions?

Why do we have to add 40 first, set the views, set it back to 21 and set the views again? Can you explain why this change from 21 to 61 has to be done?

We minus 40 from the number not add. It makes the "cockpit camera" drop back into the cabin meaning we can save views outside of the cockpit (otherwise the cockpit door is solid and the camera doesn't move through it)

it's just a wider problem with the simulator really - it makes it very difficult for custom views!

the CRJ folder doesn't appear accessible nor the desired path on my pc "no hidden files nothing" the only ones i have are the game default asobo files for the standard aircraft including all files? where did it go on my pc? nothing will come up while I'm deep in the sub directory very genius to pay 59.00 plus tax for a feature that is supposed to come with it? very nice-nice plane......... but i guess i am out of luck with the cabin view very disappointed. it is on my hard drive my guess is its hidden-on purpose for copyright infringement laws or hackers. can you do a fix tutorial on those like myself whom have no drive file path access to perform the skill you have to obtain the success with this? thanks for the video regardless most appreciated and great job!!! :)

Did you buy it through the MSFS marketplace? If so you can't I don't think, because it's encrypted differently by Asobo/MS within the marketplace

So thanks for the tut' but what was the use of editing the careas.cfg proir? It seems an un-needed step as you had to "tweak" the views again. Not being mean just wanting to know.

You edit the .cfg prior to move the camera into the rear of the aircraft so you can actually leave the flight deck. A quicker way now is to do that, then set one view on the left and right hand sides of the aircraft then reset the .cfg back and set all the rest

Hi! So, when you change the value back to the original value on the camera file it moves all the positions forward by 40 points, so you just have to move them back and resave each one :)
