As a retired glider pilot in RL I always live to see somebody flying gliders in MSFS. However you must fly over the ridge and not in the middle of a valley.

Your comment betrays a profound ignorance in even basic glider aerodynamics. If you wish to be a more convincing poser watch a few videos on coring thermals, wave soaring and final glide.
