Yrp that mostly worked for me except for thr taxiing refusing to steer. Liverpool to Amsterdam a quick 1 hour. I now know for the most part what I'm doing going forward. Thanks again. 👍🏽

in cruise, AP got disabled by some reason, but when enabling it again, it showed nothing except for AP1 in the display (I don't know what it is called. But where all the AP things like Speed V/S or ALT are shown) Changing altitude in the AP didn't stop it from climbing like crazy. Even setting negative V/S to sink didn't change anything. Went into a stall and had to continue manually. Shouldn't I be able to enable AP somehow in cruise again?

@@lukasm09 make sure your throttle stays in the CLB detent throughout the flight. It acts as an auto throttle switch in the Airbus

All went went well until the approach. At 2000 ft I scratched some windmills and had to pull up to not meet the scottish hills. Tested the AP 1/2 to the max - it made S-Curves to get the glideslope but finally it decided to land in a nearby village... I blame the flightplan, somehow it gave me a "triangle" to land in Glasgow which I guess was not the best approach. Still learned alot from your video.

@@Schmaahn sounds like you descended a little early - did you accidentally pull the altitude dial and put it in open descent instead of managed? Also, were your flaps fully extended and were you at approach speed - did you follow the airplane’s DECEL program by applying flaps as it tried to slow? The airplane only makes corrections when it’s physically going too fast to follow the lateral path.

@@TiJayFLY Thanks for your reply. I waited until I passed the decent sign you meantioned in our video. Even a few seconds longer because I wanted to see if something flashes up. Then I clicked: FL26 --> 2000 At the first purple dot I started with the flaps - I learned "orange marker" = flaps. Did all of them at each marker. But at 2000ft I was in a plateau with the windmills and a hill. Something must have gone wrong in the flight planning - even though I took the runways from your video. I clicked on "create" and "send to ATC + Av." and then it gave me this strange triangle landing path.

Tried a new shorter flight to Glasgow pausing the flight to watch your vid. Made sure the route looks good after submiting it to ATC Still crashed at approach😕 Maybe it has something to do with the green line the plane is following (direct path) and the magenta line which should be the actual path?

@@KwillATL just sounds like you need to check which controls are assigned to “nosewheel tiller” on the sim options, and recalibrate or reassign. It’s probably sharing an axis with your throttle or something. The MSFS forums can probably help with specifics

@@TiJayFLY got that figured out, now when I give the jet gas everything cuts off. I’m using the T. Flight Hotas and I just checked to see if I had any key binds that are setup twice,but don’t. I just started playing so I don’t have to many keybinds to use just yet, I flew all prop planes perfect, but the jets giving me a problem.

@@djintrusive this can happen if the runway is too short for the airplane type & weight. Try a lighter load at a longer runway. Also make sure the weight is in kg 😮

@@TiJayFLY It was user error (mine) would not do it when the plane was cold - I only had battery and external power activated whilst I was baording. I auto started the plane so all systems came online, I stopped the engines from cranking so did not start at the gate and then it was able to do it. Thank you my friend.

@@tdepriest You can’t clear a discon if the next waypoint is manual/vectors. In theory you can clear the manual waypoint first, but some approaches do rely on manual vectoring by ATC. This is realistic and happens IRL

@@adambelong2953 move the throttle to the CLB position after takeoff as shown. Default controls are f2 and f3 to decrease and increase. Look up the Xbox equivalents in control options if required.

Reverser thrust is just holding the "reduce throttle" key or button, on PC it's F2. Lack of managed mode will be an issue with your flight plan, share screenshots of FMC FPLN page on discord in description.
