I'm getting smooth 110 to 120FPS performance with these settings. TIP: Use H.264 for better latency, specifically look for the improvement on "Decoding" ms you can cut that in half over the AV1 codec.

Is the proper method to open the VD app on the PC, then run VD on the Quest 3 to launch the game or do I go into Quest link and run VD on my PC and run the game?

The former. Have the VD app on your PC installed and running, open the VD app on your Q3. You can run the game from the list in VD menu, or you can open up Steam and run it there.

For me I prefer it off because of better latency, but only if you have a good network setup. If your network setup is not very good, better to leave it on

I have the exact same settings and hardware that you do but I can only get 90fps at most for some reason.. Is your 13900 overclocked?

@@coffeeholic_3d nope I'm actually undervolted haha, check to make sure your vsync and monitor refresh rate isn't capping it

@@LunchAndVR Yeah vsync is off and my monitor is set at its 165hz. I noticed my nvidia driver is the newest (which was supposed to have optimizations for this game) and yours is not, I'll try rolling back to see if it makes any difference I guess.

I have exact same rig as you and dont worry he uses dlss on balanced so hes got basically zero resolution and everything is blurry. I cant stand blurriness so im running straight taa with max rez and yes you have to put everything or so on medium.

The AV1 ccodec limits you to 200 Mbps if you use the H264+ it is 500 Mbps limit for faster games. Great video thanks bud oh thats in the latest Meta VD update not Steam VD

i think something is wrong here ..in MSFS2020 it was barely possible to hit 45 FPS in VR and here you get 120 ?? the performance is 3 times higher IN !!!!! VR ?!?!?!?!

He's not actually getting 120fps, SSW is a type of frame generation. He's running at 60fps, and it brings it up to 120. This game is extremely difficult to run in VR, I was unable to run it at even 80hz sub 1x res with very low settings on a 7900XTX.

@@LunchAndVR are you talking about "amd fidelityfx sharpening" and the sharpening of openxr tool kit/ virtual Desktop? That helps, it even improves the definition a little with dlaa and taa but in dlss it is not enough, your eyes are poorly accustomed.
