Liiiiisten, I came back here because I wanted to concur. I just flew the 407 in Jamaica from Boscobel to Ken Jones airport (NO ASSISTS ON), and holy crap it is a thing of beauty! THIS is what I HOPED Asobo would do. THIS feels like a helicopter! This is nothing like what FSX was. This is actually on par with Dreamfoil Creations X-Plane version. I am really impressed!

This is the sim that literally just keeps on giving! I never get over the feeling that the value for money of MSFS is absolutely second to none! Amazing that all of these updates and add-ons are all free to people who bought this years ago...Microsoft and Asobo have to be congratulated on looking after their customers! Awesome update!

Yup I bought premium deluxe for 105 and I can say money well spent. The amount of sceneries and now aircraft you get stock it's amazing. I satisfied and can't wait to hop in the A310

Great video! I have a Quest 2 as well and nVidea RTX 3070 video card. I was wondering if you were using the OpenXR driver, or the Oculus driver on Windows? Do you happen to have a video on how you set up your Quest 2 and nVidea card for MSFS or DCS (with suggested settings)? Would be helpful to us all, since you are successfully getting such an awesome frame rate! Thanks!

I have gained FPS, about 8 or 9, flipo!. Now I shoot between 61 and 68 fps in VR HIGH with my Varjo. Will they have improved Dlss?, Will they have optimized in general?...

Well you're right Steve, I've flown the Huey in DCS and VR and helicopters are other sensations. I have H145 and this one that comes as a gift for the 40th anniversary of MSFS and we have to start freaking out with them. Kind regards Steve😀🤝

Can you test on a lower end card like a 3080? Not everyone has a top end 40xx series card, especially if you’re doing a review on a lower end headset.

The choppers rerally are awesome aren't they? By default they come with some stabilising options on to make things easier, so if you want to experienjce the full brunt of chopper madness, make sure to turn both of them off. :)

I have a few sets of VR for portable use. I have a pretty high power laptop that I can fit in a backpack with everything need to set up the sim anywhere… even camping… with a solar power system.

I have never flown in DCS but I have flown in XP11 in the B429 freeware and the AW139 Payware. I have the Quest 2 on a low to medium-spec pc using the steam-powered GTX 1070 . With all that said I have just flown the B407 out of London city in VR, it was freaking me out it felt so real.If a £299.00 VR headset can deliver this, what can a top-of-the-range one do?? I downloaded the latest performance mod.

For Aero users make sure you have the latest nvidia driver I didn’t and I had 1/2 the fps. Seems to be ok with the new driver.

Great video! I’m loving it so far! I’m just about to give the B407 a go, but I love the G2 so far! At first I thought it was a bit too stable but then I realized the assists for Helis are all on by default. I turned them off and I am very impressed with the helicopter physics so far. I’ll post a video some time this weekend.

Installed the update, loving it. Tried a glider. GPU overheated within 5 mins and game crashed. Probably time for an upgrade from my trusty rx580 then.

Random question... I got a pretty nice sweet spot between fps and grafx quality. But for some odd reason, my fps drops to the floor when I'm in a jet. I get in a 172, butter smooth. Climb in an F-16 or an F/A-18 and the same scenery at the same time of day is just unusable. Anyone else having this?
