One important thing is that Sim-Wings tend to get the airfield lighting right at Spanish airports (it's quite unique in Spain). This may well be an area in which SW have the win. But I am surprised the MK one is better overall. Subjective, of course, but it does feel more accurate. And you're right that SW's updates take forever... if they update at all. SW do claim that they have modelled some surroundings but I can't seem to find any evidence of their having done so from any of the current videos or screenshots. MK have to be one of the most improved devs in the last 12 months. Their LEMG was superb!

I can give you the pertinent point on that one here: LatinVFR's is the worst of the bunch, but it's not so much worse that I'd recommend buying either of the new ones unless you're rich and fly to Barcelona all the time.
