This is the basis for all current modern/lyrical/contemporary dancing! There are so many parts of this technique being lost and I truly feel that teachers and students alike should pay more respect for the history of dance and where we have evolved from.

Yes and Pilates, Japanese Noa, Indian classical, American Indian Dance and others.....Graham drew from every , any source that she could to add to her palette ... That is why it is so rich as a training source.

I sure do miss taking Martha Graham technique in college as a dance minor. ;-) It was definitely a workout and did great things for my body. ;-)

We are releasing music written for contemporary technique class - very suitable for Cunningham/Graham. So far there are 175 instrumental tracks arranged by count and tempo. See our channel for more info.
