For over 30 years I showed dogs (chows) and during that time the best and only brush I used was the Mason Pearson. I tried “others” but they never compared to that brush. And I learned if that brush had such a dramatic and positive effect on my dog’s coat then it would have to be good for my own hair which it has for over 30 years. Love that brush! I have beautiful long hair (says my friends) so I will always invest it the Mason Pearson. By the way I’m 78.

Hi Marnie, I need you to elaborate on why the GHD curling iron is better than the Bioionic please. I have 2 of the long barrel Bioionics and love them… but if there is something better out there, I’m willing to give it a go. My hair is about 2-2.5” longer than yours. My hair is thick, coarse and curly/kinky. I have to blow it out straight and then use my curling iron on it. Please let me know what it is about the GHD you like better. Thanks.

The red suit? To my eye it’s not the color it’s the volume of material especially right now when our eyes are used to cropped styles the jacket was way too huge. Paired with pleated trousers which add bulk around the hips, they are visually overwhelming. I don’t think anyone less than 6 feet can pull off that outfit and even then it might not work. It wouldn’t be any better in black. I’m not really saying you looked bad. A belt will help. Remember the door stop you have for gate I think it was? Best random item ever. Mine is at door to garage and I’m still loving it
