MSI GE66 Raider in 2024 Full Review (RTX 3070)

I have owned this exact same laptop since April 2021 (i7-10870H, RTX 3070, 16GB and 240Hz), it has been my daily driver since for gaming, productivity, working from home, and general casual use. It is currently at 11,231 power on hours and still kicking strong as I type this very comment on it! WHAT A BEAST!!! 🤩💻 This replaced an older MSI GE model (2014 GE60) I had before which was a blast too and ran for almost 20K hours and this one has been vastly superior in every single way. I have never had a single regret buying it, and loved using it every single minute I've had with it. Okay the fans can be pretty loud and it is quite bulky and heavy, YES, but looking past that, every single other aspect is perfect. My next machine will be another GE series, and most certainly another MSI. I am actually super tempted to go all out for the GE68HX, but given this still serves me well, I'm more than happy to hold off even longer! For those waning to save by looking for an older model, PLEASE DO consider this one! I wholeheartedly recommend! 👍

Most important thing is the fan noise is it loud and noisy

I’ve had this since 2021. A beast indeed buuuuut…the speaker is impossible to hear at full blast (is it just me?), the WiFi card constantly loses connection anywhere I go, and the CPU regularly reaches 100c+. Did I get a dud?

I just bought a new laptop with an i7 and a 4070 for the equivalent of $1400.

Not worth it At all. Do not buy. For 1000-1500 you can get a 4060-4070 laptop with vastly faster ddr5 ram.
