MSi GF75 Thin RTX 3060 Gaming Laptop Unboxing (2021 Model: 10UEK-064US)

In this video I unbox and do a quick overview of the MSi GF75 Thin 10UEK-064US RTX 3060 Gaming Laptop. So far just by the look and feel of this gaming laptop I feel like its going to be a very popular line of gaming laptops for 2021 and probably into 2022.
The next few videos on this laptop will be how to properly setup a brand new laptop where I'll be answering questions like "Do you need to pay for anti-virus?" (Short answer is NO!) and other questions. Then I plan to do a video to talk about weather or not to even consider a laptop and I'll probably do even more with it. when trying to upgrade my gpus, and ended bought msi gf65 rtx 3060, the price more sense rather than buying gpu at this very moment, the only downside about this laptop is the lcd quality pretty basic, even my 4ktv the cheapest one far better lol

On Aliexpres you can buy a better display for the GF65 thin, with much better color gamut and faster reponse times. Around 100 bucks. Swap is easy.

I’m always looking for lower cost stuff so for me personally I’d go with this one. But it really depends if the screen is better and if it fulfills your needs better. This one has a pretty nice build quality overall and feels quite solid IMO. For the price is a solid choice honestly

Couldn't agree more 😅 For me it was about portability so other than these next few weeks of use (To get a good idea for the review) I will probably only use it when I'm editing (or gaming) on the go. no, i think 60% srgb Adobe max, pure for gaming a non-issue though.

Unfortunately this one seems 'limited' to 75W, the 3060 in it I mean... any way you can remove that restriction to let's say 100W or something? Would definitely be beneficial for framerates ;)

For $1300 usd I don't think you can beat raw performance but I was not impressed with the screen. Pretty low quality 144hz IPS. Not at all color accurate or bright. Also the way the hinge lifts the back of the laptop it has no rubber feet/table contact so it tends to slide.

The screen is definitely decent and I was getting 144fps in apex on this. Screen isn’t the best for sure but it’s good enough for gaming. Depends how competitive you are tbh, casual gaming is perfect

I agree! I just bought this laptop. I've used Acer laptops which also have very nice keyboards. Last IBM I bought was a T-30. IBM was the corporate standard and used by so many businesses. My sister used to work for Texas Instruments in Temple, Texas and she was able to get me 2 TI travelmates through employee sales way back in the 90's. They also had great keyboards. TI was bought by Acer. This new MSI had a very strange keyboard. The right shift key is too far to the left and is very unnatural. Of course I am old and learned to type in high school on an IBM selectric electric typewriter.

But I can say it’s decent for now. If gaming I just have it plugged in otherwise it will die pretty quickly, especially if the game has high GPU usage.

Not realy but i use my Laptop to use it with "Davinci" Resolve to primary beginning to cut my videos before it rendered on my Workstation. I use the same (Specs) Laptop but from Acer and its work verry well. It has Power to work with "ProRes RAW Files" in 4K in Resolve. I dont now, wehre's the power in games. I'm not a gamer.
