Great Review. This helped alot for me to get my head around the new Bios as it is a little different to the Asus Bios. Thanks

I just got mine last week and it looks really good, Waiting for 9800X3D as well. Gonna go with GSkill Neo 5 8000Mhz. MSI ROCKS! Thanks for the video...

@NeoDon1 kind of stupid question, but which memory stick is this one? All the GSkill I find are 6000mhz, is the 8000mhz via oc?

These are G.Skill 6000 32GB (16x2) memory chips, but I am now currently using G.Skill 6400 64 (32x2) memory chips.

Sounds amazing. I do have a 9900x currently being used on this board, but hoping to have the 99003XD when released on this board.

Judging from my previous experience with MSI, it looks like this board will pair quite nicely with a Ryzen 9950x and a Radeon 7900 XTX with the newer versions of the BIOS as of now.

It definitely will work on this board, and I personally have a 9900x3D in mind for this board when released.

Greetings, is it necessary to use the PCIE_PWR1 port at the bottom? Trying to figure it out as I'm doing a build with the same motherboard. Thanks!

I believe this is more geared for the newer 4090 and above power hungry video cards. I'm currently using this motherboard with a 9900x and a 3070 TI and not using the connection. Working normally.

@Silent157 I do have a 4090 but the problem is it already uses all my VGA ports in my PSU as it uses 4 so I wouldn't have any other way of plugging that one in

ALL MSI Godlike Motherboards come out at $1000 or more.
@Silent15710 күн бұрын
Yes, and previously I thought $700 was a lot for a motherboard. I may not be reviewing the Godlike Tier of motherboards lol

How did you go bringing up at memory speed to 6400? PC stable?
@Silent15726 күн бұрын
The profile was engaged in the motherboard, though in this video the memory profile is 6000. The memory chips I have designated for this board are 6400 and so far and running stable.

Does this msi board have a clock generator like the asus rog strix 870e-e so it only affects the cpu and not the pcie or memory.
@Silent15715 күн бұрын
I did see an option to change the clock speed, but unsure if it would affect other speeds.

Invisible hard drives?
@Silent15710 күн бұрын
No hard drives were plugged in during this video, as the BIOS showed also.
