@@chamanorel I actually ordered the acer one, before this review. But after some research it turns out the color space is smaller than many ips models (98% sRGB, so the less colourful look in the review) Also realised I couldn't stand the ips glow so I cancelled the order and thinking of a good color space VA curved panel (no glow, deep blacks). Finalised on the mag241c (118% sRGB). You have any suggestions? Coz I can't decide over ips and va.

@@shrivignesh5705 va is kinda the middle of tn and ips. However gaming still isn't recommended over the va panels. But, imo it depends on your usage. If you want really competitive gaming which is mostly fps, get a tn panel. If you want slightly better colors and viewing angles with similar to tn panel refresh rates, then it is va. But if you want really good colors, viewing angles, play mmorpg type games and can compromise on response time by a few ms , which shouldn't be greater than 10, get an ips. I decided to go for an ips, msi g241 because I play a mix of games and viewing other content. Also between acer and msi, after seeing this review as well, I went with msi. Usually msi is about 1k or more expensive than the acer. Luckily I got the msi at Rs16,960 while acer was at Rs16,999

**To clarify the gamut issue. I have copied the below article from a random site.** The BenQ offers ‘rich and natural’ colour output, as described in our review of the 27″ version. There’s just a bit of extension beyond sRGB. The MSI on the other hand covers 94.6% DCI-P3 and has a gamut volume of 127.7% - specified by MSI, at least. This means it output shades in a more vibrant and saturated way, similar to the AOC 24G2(U). Some users like this look as it’s vivid - others do not as it strays from the original intentions of the developers or content creators for most content including games.

They both use the Panda 144hz IPS panel, which is well known to be the best budget 144hz IPS panel. Some other monitors that also use the Panda 144hz IPS are the Pixio PX248 and the ViewSonic XG2405. They're all similarly priced ($10-20 difference between them all), and they all perform very similar due to them using the exact same panel. I just chose the MSI because I think it looks nicer and it's always good to purchase from a well-known computer/peripheral brand. All of them will serve you well though.

color accuracy le liye msi kafi acha h, gaming ke liye dono me se koi bhi le sakte hain aap, but msi me ghosting issues bhi acer jitne nahi h, or rahi baat response time ki to gtg dono ka almost 5-6 h 1 ms nhi h.

Just want to clear the yellow tint doubt, i bought this monitor on 12th dec and it had a manufacturing month of november. Monitor has no yellow tint at all. SO i can say that the monitors manufactured in novemeber and after will not have any yellow tint. Pefect panel , no problem at all.

It really depends on your budget, both the monitors are good in producing colours. Acer vg240yp is a pretty good deal in 13-14k. Go for MSI only if you want that extra colour accuracy. Also, the yellow tint issue isn't even visible that much and doesn't cause any problem.

I got the acer for 13k from clarion.,, Whreas MsI was 16.5k.. and you also need 1K displayport cable. So for 4.5k LESS you get 5% dull colors which can be fixed by calibration..but you get 165hz instead of 144hz, that too without buying any extra cables. Only issue is ips glow.. then again msi also has panel issues

Acer ke colours jaha tak humne test kiye, ache hai. Display cable ke sath kaafi acha output milta hai. Bas thodi ghosting dekhne ko milti hai.

Now i am stuck between VG250YS which i am getting for 15300 or should i go for this ? having tilt issue is bit worrisome.. as per observation acer got brighter panel but on acer portal they clearly mentioned 6bit + frc = 8 bit but on msi monitor nothing was mentioned while acer got srgb 99% ntsc 74% which is lesser the msi. Please suggest !

MSI has an 8 bit panel as well. But you're getting speakers with vg240ys in 15300 and it has good colour accuracy so it's a pretty good deal. Buy MSI only if you need that extra 128% sRGB colour accuracy.

I purchased acer screen, it's been 1 month I complain for screen panel not working, they replaced the screen! But not the new screen then replace with repaired screen! After sales issues comes up after 8 month approx! And my experience about acer is worst! 1st replaced screen - left bottom corner was damaged. 2nd replaced screen was 2019 dec manufactured. 3rd replaced screen has white light on corners
