I'm actually thinking of getting this laptop as a replacement from my 2014 MacBook Pro, and as a secondary workstation in case my primary desktop workstation is out of action and need to be sent to get repaired (like what has happened right now) So it's good to get a UK review of someone who is using this laptop for content creation. In some respect, I'm actually in the same boat as what you was in a little while ago

I've often thought about buying MSI, I was within an inch of it in 2021 but they just can sort out their supply side. Looked again last night (because my LG has so many issue that not one reviewer mentioned...) and nothing has changed at MSI for the better. Their website gives dimensions for some models in cms, some in inches FFS!! Not a big issue but it shows how little thought they put into sales. The deal breaker is always trying to find a spec that you want is almost impossible, half the time it's either only available in a couple of countries that I'm not in, or it's not available at all. No point in building laptops that have dual bays for hard drives then not selling any with dual drives, or even a single 4Tb option - I don't want to void my warranty on day one opening a machine that isn't really designed to be opened. Come on MSI - I want to give you my money, why not give us some options? Why force me to pay someone else to throw in some storage? Going back to Apple just because they're the only guys who sell 8Tb as a standard option - which is why they have most of the video/photo market sewn up.
