Hi Jelena, it would better for you to ask an immigration expert or ask someone that knows about how immigration extension process is. There is a process that you can extend your stay there in the Philippines for several months or a year and not going for many times in a year extending your papers and pay more. Get help from friends. And congrats having your stay extended.

That's normal Jelena we here in Brazil also pay an extension visa for another 3 month's but need to exit nearby country before 180 days to avoid paying tax.

Jelena, you should know -- you can extend Visa only so many times. After the maximum, you need to leave the country -- and this requires an EXIT VISA -- which can take a long time to secure from the Philippine government. I don't know if you can do this in Davao. My sister (US citizen) had to go to Manila.

Jelena, if you already decided to live in the Philippines, try to work the papers for getting a permanent resident and the sooner you can do get it, the better, because you can get a citizenship if you want to. You have an advantage if you will get a citizenship, and that is you can buy a property in which you cannot do it in Europe because it's very expensive. If you can do it in the Philippines, at least you have something to pass down to your children as an inheritance. I'm pretty sure that 30 years from now, properties will go up to hardly find a property to buy with reasonable prize. Anyway, this is just a thought for you to consider for your children's future.
