Sjhshshsjee I meant to wait and try and leave a coherent comment but I CAN’T I’m so emotional over this video. I adore the books and the book versions of the characters so much (loved the tv too, but the book chars don’t get as much love 💔) and this was such a warm and glorious and creative celebration of Quentin and Alice and I’m dkdjjdjdjdjdjdjddjdj incoherent with my feelings. Please say you’re planning more like this for the magicians because this was glorious and I’m probably going to rewatch it at least a hundred times.

Aww, thanks !! 😃 That's awesome. It makes it even more special that you like it. Haha I'm aware of the fandom's love for Quentin/Eliot and I totally get it. The actors have the most chemistry on the show & it's a very shippable dynamic anyway. I loved them in the books too, as a bromance. They went for something different in the show, but it's not like it comes out of nowhere entirely.

It's funny that you did a Magician related video. You asked me about a fandom I like and I meant to say something about the Magicians because I know you read the books and I've only read a few chapters of the first book and I was thinking 2 nights ago I need to get back to reading it. After the season 4 ending (no spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it) I just couldn't deal with anything Magicians for a while. Anyway long story short I liked Q and Alice in the beginning but I became a Queliot supporter around the 3rd season. So now I think this video has made me want to pick up the book again. I should mention this was really well done and I always love your videos and know i'll appreciate it even more when I finish reading the books.

What a coincidence !! I didn't think my next video would actually match your expectations that well. Haha. That's awesome. I know what you're referring to in S4. It seems it's angered a lot of people in the fandom, and rightly so. Did it kind of taint the whole thing for you? I was thinking this reminds me of your Ron fanvid & I look down to find out that it is you. Amazing video as always. If you are curious, u should give the show a shot. Tv Pilots are written months before the rest of the season & they might have found that spark later on

Thanks ! 😀 I love that it's become my trademark - book edits. haha Yes, I realize that it's a bit weird, giving my opinion on a show that I've spent so little time on. Honestly, you're completely right. But it's one of those things where I can just tell. From the pilot, to gifsets I've seen around, little bits of scenes I've stumbled upon... it's obvious that they've made a lot of changes. Some characters don't give off the same vibe, some aren't named the same. Events don't happen the same way. Etc. But most of all, the feeling is different. The books feel raw, real and honest, to the point where it can be depressing. The show feels like a show, with fun, badass and dark moments. It's like two sides of the same coin, and I'm only into one of those sides.

Also, I didn't realize how early on pilots were written & how that could affect a first impression. It does explain a few things for a couple shows I've seen where the pilot hits different. Thanks for letting me in on the behind the scenes. 😉
