I disagree. I didn't watch it right away because I didn't want to cry. But the ending was not good. Onward did a way better job at dealing with death.

@@tsxtina2919 I disagree. The death they dealt with is different. Onward was the loss of a loved one and soul was a loss of yourself. The ending to soul is just more obscure where onward is more clear and straightforward

@@tsxtina2919 it didn’t have enough time to explain and show what it shouldve. If you think about a book you can read a whole chapter of information which only transfers to maybe 5 seconds of screen time. In a book the characters facial features are described and more clearly explained why. In a movie you have to interpret it all yourself as you’re watching so if you’re not 100% focused you lose a lot of the meaning. Very ambitious movie

My niece and nephew got bored watching it. I refused to see it with them since it was dubbed. Instead I waited until I could watch it on my own in English. It is great but probably not easy entertainment for a child

MsMojo you forgot the biggest Easter egg cameo. John Ratzenberger has been in EVERY Pixar movie however he was not credited for his appearance in Soul however his cameo has been confirmed in the Subway scene around an hour in the movie. He can be seen wearing a red shirt.

Considering the past two videos let me just say this.... Let’s all try not to get too attached to The Owl House in the case it ends up being disappointing or before the fanbase ruins it for us. I mean I have enjoyed the show so far but I really don’t wanna get too fond of it in the case it does end up unsatisfying I mean that’s sorta been the case with several other animated shows for me as of late. In my opinion this movie failed with what it tried to do. For one It's not fun for kids. Tried putting on for kids and they hated it. Second it's too similar to inside out. And third it's too ambitious for it's own good and tries to have it's cake and eat it too. He should have died at the end of the movie to really get that message across to enjoy life while you have it. But they cheapen the concept by keeping him alive. Onward did a waaaaayyyyyy better job of dealing with death and the finality of it and to enjoy what you have cuz you never know when it will be taken away. So in my opinion Soul: not as good as they want you to think it is. And Onward: better than it gets credit for.
