Michael was the best because he invented the moves. I miss him. You're right! MJ watched all the moves from Fred and Gene to Mr. Bojangles. But you all would have to admit Michael added his own flair to these moves, making his style his trademark. His variations on the moonwalk. The way MJ transmitted emotions through his body is unmatched for me . he didnt even need to do complex moves , just simple moves , or just the way he walked on stage was a dance move by itself . This guy could move his body like nobody else . 35 years after Thriller , there are many many extraordinary dancers , with more complex moves , but i am yet to see one that make a whole crowd lighten up like they were watching magic experience by the way they move . The way MJ transmitted emotions through his body was magic .

Chris Brown, not just his moves but the creativity he has in music videos to show the moves off 2. Usher, he hasn't put much out yet so just a little down but he's still got it 3.
