I'd like to add another: Judy Garland was a child star with Mickey Rooney in the Andy Hardy films and 16 when she sang Over the Rainbow in The Wizard of Oz.

Garland started out a s singer and dancer on Vaudeville stages long before she began to act so she doesn't fit the scope of this list which is actors we watched as children then discovered they could sing. Her first appearance was at the age of 2, singing and dancing with her 2 older sisters as "The Gumm Sisters" (Her birth name was Francis Gumm).

I think maybe this list is for known child actors in acting only… When Ariana grande debuted on Tv, it was a musical series.. the roles here listed by the actors were non musical… so it was only when when they have other projects that people discovered they could actually sing.. like Miranda cosgroves role was famous for not being able to sing, Radcliffe to since he never sang in tv or movies… but yeah zendaya started singing in her debut show already.. it’s a confusing list

Ashley Tisdale played Maddie on Suite Life of Zack and Cody. She sang in the High School Musical movies as well as on Phineas and Ferb. Back in the 70’s Shaun Cassidy starred in the Hardy Boys tv show. He sang in several episodes of the show and put out several hit records. Also, Alison Smith played Jenny in the show Kate & Allie. She sang in a few episodes. She had starred as Annie on broadway when she was younger.

Funnily enough, that clip of the lizzie mcguire movie sounded like someone else singing until the last line. I know Hillary and her sister Hailey sang together a lot after that, and I listened to songs like "The math". It just sounded like a different person in the first couple lines of the clip. Which is really funny when you consider that she's supposed to be proving they *aren't lip-syncing* in the movie

Just saw Daniel R in Merrily We Roll Along with Jonathan Groff and Lindsay Mendez, the latter two being dyed in the wool Broadway actors with highly trained voices. With Daniel, it's more like he can carry a tune than he can sing. The difference was noticeable.

This should be a top twenty list because there are so many. Jodie Sweeten from Full House sang several times on Full House. And Tatiana Ali on The Fresh Prince. Allison Porter from Curly Sue showed she could sing on the voice. Jaleel White who played Steve Urkel can sing too. He sang on Psych and he's not bad. He sang on Family Matters but he did it in the Urkel voice so it didn't sound great then, but he's not bad.
