As much as I love hearing them speak, did you have to completely chop up the footage of their mini race? Would love to just see Chris Hemsworth and Daniel Brühl race their little cars and hear the mini banter in the whole thing. The interview could be kept to a separate clip!

Who was rooting for James Hunt? He was not a good guy. He worshipped himself and his own desires. The day of the final race in the grand prix in the film really demonstrated the difference in these two men. Niki woke up in his bed, with his wife sleeping next to him, a woman who had been his constant support, someone who loved him even with his injuries and his fears. Then, you see James waking up in his bed, with two women sleeping next to him who are "faceless", meaning you don't see who they are and it is assumed that their identities don't matter, because to James, they are only worthwhile for the momentary pleasure they bring him. There is not one constant love and support for James, because he believes that he doesn't need anyone in his life. There's the difference. That belief that thrill and pleasure is all that matters is why Niki was "sad" about the way James lived the final years of his life. It's obvious who you're supposed to root for in the film, and who you are meant to pity.
