Beautiful; yet heartbreaking. This is also My family’s story and commitment to our war veteran. All day; every day.

I watched this documentary tonight and also taped it to view again. Even though as an RN I was comfortable taking care of my patients, taking care of my father with congestive heart failure and later a daughter with a malignant brain tumor proved very difficult. Both were hard, but caring for and losing an adult child was devastating. I think many times we forget to care for ourselves as caregivers which makes dealing with the physical, emotional, and even financial stressors overwhelming. Richard Lui did a great job sharing several stories with the audience. It was helpful to see each story from multiple perspectives. I wish that I had been able to view this film before becoming a family caregiver. I hope that MSNBC will air this film at a more viewer friendly time. 11PM to 1AM is not a great time slot. I found the story of the soldier with TBI and PTSD was very insightful and relevant. Thank you Richard Liu for sharing this very important film! Thank you to each of the families for sharing your stories. You handled such a difficult situation with such grace and love.

Sorry about your loss😢 and thank you for bringing this very important part of caring for our loved ones. My husband had Alzheimers and diabetes. I was his caregiver until his Alzheimers became beyond my capacity and I placed him in a nursing home. He died a few years later in 2013.

Good documentary but seems to me that his family should have let him go much sooner then they did...would you want to end your days like that?...sometimes people are more about their lose then the person's lose.
