He's wrong. The Constitution is based on Christian bible that's why it is, and should be included. So is archeology and history and atlas and commentaries. Many bibles include them. Whether you look at countries or at locales within countries, the less god, the les immorality; the more god, the more immorality. Statistics prove it again and again. The Scandinavian countries have very little god while the USA is saturated with god (way more than any other country in our class)-and we are pathetic when it comes to unwanted births, guns and gun violence, infidelity, etc. Within the USA, the Bible Belt is worse than any other part of the country except Las Vegas when it comes to moral living. So if you want to improve things, pray for a godless society. Meanwhile, keep religion in churches, not in government. Keep it out of government just like our Founding Fathers intended. Or do you want to turn the USA into another Iran. Those people once had the freedoms we enjoy; now look at them after religion took charge. Sad. So very sad. But keep supporting Trump and you'll get even worse than Iran-based on what he has said out loud that he will do. If you can't dump religion, at least demand that it stays in its own lane.

They didn't because Trump was a means to their end. The church has become political. A breeding ground for false prophets and money changers. You have a lot of politicians even supreme Court justices. Who believes the church should run the government. Donald Trump had the charisma of a grifter who could say anything and everything to make empty souls believe that he was their savior. The church used Donald Trump to get the supreme Court conservative majority. He used them to become president so he could reach his own coffers. When you make a deal with the devil though there's always a price to be had.

The man is likely a near arch-conservative. There is next to zero chance his views on who Christ recognises as equal are going to match with those I was taught in the church in the '80s. But, then again, the church I attended had the reverend wearing a garment over his suit and a white collar. That aside, I cannot rebut his argument about the gospel and politics. Especially given the First Amendment of the founding documents packaged with the Trump Bible.

My ex-pastor wouldn't dare speak against Trump because Trump gave one of his family members a job. He would stand up in the pulpit and encourage the congregation to vote for Trump. He also had a mouthful to say about the sins of the Democratic Presidents (especially Obama and Biden), but never about Trump. I had to leave that mega church due to the hypocrisy.

It’s my experience that christianity personifies all that is evil in the world. I was very fortunate to be born into an eheist family in a socially advanced country where it was a crime to expose me to christianity during my schoolgirl years. Religion has never had any relevance to my life or those of the vast majority of our population.

Do you think we have found a preacher who practices his Christianity, practices what he preaches? Unfortunately, extremely rare among men of the cloth these days! Too many evangelical preachers are too busy addressing their congregations about God’s need of money! They direct the public to send money to such and such a post office box. This is all tax free money! This money was once used to help members of their congregation who fell on hard times. Not so true now days! One preacher needed a new airplane! Others have horses and fancy cars! Most live far above their average church member! Out of touch! It would probably be a embarrassment for these men of the cloth to be seen with the needy!
