Keep in mind, friend, the *"Pride of LIfe"* is not of the Father, but of this world, which is passing away. 1 John 2:15-17 (nkjv) NT (SEE verse 16) 15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life-is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. I think that God is testing, not American's, but those in America who call themselves "Christian" to see how many can tell a wolf in sheep's clothing under their very noses. Trump is not even a Christian, doesn't even know how to be saved, and he thinks there are saving sacraments to communion. That's Catholic. He doesn't bring "God" into repentance, but says when he makes a mistakes he just tries to do better next time. TRUMP is laughing at mainstream "Christian" America. And if they can be fooled by Trump, they are HOPELESS when the devil, himself, comes to say, "I am he to whom you have always worshiped!" I agree, that the pulpit is not the place for winning votes, but SOULS, and nothing should be added anywhere in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. JESUS never involved Himself in politics, nor did He teach His Disciples such. The real question for Christians: do you want to pray that God saves this drug and "rainbow"-colored LGBTQ+, sex addicted, devil-worshiping country, or are you ready for the RETURN OF CHRIST?! God isn't waving an American flag, and if we're not waving His flag, we're on the wrong team. God Bless

Do you also condemn those publishers for adding the notes at the bottom of the page?? Trump isn't telling Christians to accept the Constitution as an addition to the word of God, just as publishers aren't telling Christians that footnotes are additions to God's word. What Revelation 22:18 is actually referring to are examples like the Book of Mormon- Joseph Smith literally added additional books & passages to the Bible claiming they were the "lost books of the Bible". This literally created a new religion because of the additional doctrine.

@candiceleerobey83607 ай бұрын
The words “separation of Church and State” are not found in the Constitution itself, but the concept is found in the first amendment and the idea permeated both the reasons for the founding of the United States and the ideals of our founding fathers. The words “separation of Church and State” were written by Thomas Jefferson, but not found in the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence. However, our Founding Fathers would not have questioned this. Freedom of religion was the man reason they fled British tyranny, a nation led by the unelected leader of the Church of England.

I've worked in the book publishing industry for over 34 years. I know a thing or two about how books get published-including Bibles. Based on the overall appearance of the Trump Bible, I will guarantee that it's cheaply published in China. That's why there's no copyright page, which is actually slightly illegal. They did register the ISBN number with the government, the Library of Congress. The version of the text that was used, the King James version, is considered public domain and therefore free use to anyone who wants to publish a Bible cheaply. More recently versions including the NIV and RSV are still copyrighted. The gilded edges are causing the Bible pages to stick together. It's a thin coating that's applied after the book is printed and bound. The other supplemental elements, i.e. Declaration of Independence, Constitution, etc. are also public domain and free use. So the only cost to the publisher is the printing, which is likely less than $1 in US currency. Selling them for $60 is an enormous profit, especially when you consider that all of this information could be easily found online for free. There's also the issue of them only available in large print, which means there's a clearly defined target audience, gullible seniors. For someone like Trump who claims that the Bible is his favourite book, which he reads daily, it surprises me to learn that when he recently attended a fundraising event sponsored by a Christian organization, he was asked to lead the audience in reciting the Lord's Prayer. But he didn't know the words. Even an atheist would likely know the words to this common prayer.
@TeachArt2407 ай бұрын
Many atheists I know have read the Bible cover-to-cover and some also read the Torah and the Koran. It's because they are curious people and they want to know what others believe and why. Many say that reading the Bible either put the first doubts in their mind or confirmed their lack of belief. One of my good friends was an older atheist (now deceased) who was often asked to be on a local talk-radio show to talk about atheism. The host always suggested that callers not try to argue the Bible with Joe because he knew it better than most of them. But they would call and read Bible verses to him and Joe would quote from memory passages of scripture that totally contradicted those verses. Thank you so much for this video. I am a very proud (naturalized) American citizen. I've actually READ and was tested on those historical documents in order to become a citizen. I am very proud and grateful and honored to be an American. And although I am not religious now, I was raised Catholic and we read the bible together on Sundays as a family - in two languages. So I have actually READ that religious text. This bible deeply offends me as an American and as someone that respects the religious faith of others. I am continually baffled as to why those that consider themselves patriots and devout aren't offended - by this bible and other gross displays of certain politicians. And Lee Greenwood's song used to give me chills. I loved it. But it is tainted for me now. I am sorry for those that will waste their hard earned dollars that could have helped their own families or other families on this book and then will later regret it.

You know... I like how Lee Greenwood wrote a song about how he'd defend the country when, in all actuality, he dodged the draft when it came to actually doing so... But then again so did Trump... Birds of a feather, I guess

@GodGunsGutsandNRA7 ай бұрын
Lee Greenwood did not dodge the draft, he did not flee to Canada or any of the other things that are being put out there. He was classified as 3A because at the young age of 17, he was married, and already had children. During the Unconstitutional Vietnam War, all men that were married, and had children were 3A. That only meant they were deferred because they were the breadwinners for their families. Had the war continued, he would have been called up. During the WWII draft, my grandfather received that deferment because he had 5 children under 12 yo, and the breadwinner. However, as WWII lingered on, he was called up to serve. The drafts have always taken the 18-26 yo single men FIRST!!

@@GodGunsGutsandNRAregardless of him personally getting drafted, the draft was happening. So did he "proudly stand up" next to his peers and "defend" the USA when he had the chance? The song says he would do those things not that he would if he doesn't get a deferment. As for trump, he totally dodged the draft, and now he and Lee are partners in this lovely Bible. I do have to think trump was probably telling the truth when he said he "has many bibles" he has to have a few for marketing them to his brain dead followers. LOL 😂. You could all benefit from actually reading the Bible, especially trump, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

@@paulweston8408 Your father had 7 brothers, but he was the only one to get drafted??? For Real??? The remember the draft being crazy back then. My first husband and I got married as soon as we graduated in 1970, because we thought he would be called up right away. Several of our friends had already got their notice, so we "rushed" into marriage, just in case he got his notice. I wasn't pregnant, I had no intention of rushing that part, but he never got called. I have no idea why he didn't, but he never did. The draft during Vietnam was an unorganized mess. I am sorry your dad had to go, but thankful he made it home to you, I knew so many that didn't.

Of course, it would eclipse the great Chilean poet Raúl Zurita's 3-kilometer poem, which was dug into the Atacoma Desert in the wake of the Pinochet regime, as the largest poem in the world, but considering the circumstances, I don't think he would mind. The true struggles of the human spirit are not just about competition to be the "biggest" or "best" anyways.

If you thought that the constitution was the word of God because it was included in the back end of the book, you completely missed the point. The whole point is to remind Americans how important the founders built our country under God and is the very reason for it's success as a nation. I'm surprised I had to explain it to you. The majority of young Americans would look at that document as something foreign that they have never read before. This is just a way of reminding us all how important if was not to be lorded over by one particular sect of Christianity. The founders were Godly and did not want to be told what to believe by any one particular church. That's the very liberty the founders were seeking and fought for. No one is claiming the constitution is the word of God any more than the index, or study notes, or any other multitude of additional texts that are supplementally added to many bibles. This is a special one for a special time in history.
