Some of the legal analysts keep saying that the prosecution didn't need to call Stormy Daniels, but A) it's important to get some of these salacious details on the record to fully understand the level of importance Trump would place on keeping her quiet, and B) these are the details that may/should influence the 2024 election the way they should have influenced the 2016 election. Once this trial is over, I suspect the stuff the court couldn't stomach will come to light as she paints a picture of Trump's behavior. As a juror, I would appreciate having more information than less, and knowing the level of embarrassment Trump could face could be influential in understanding the importance of his actions to pay her for her silence.
