I like Joe Biden a lot. He admits mistakes and isn't afraid to adopt a more forward-thinking approach. He seems genuine and compassionate. In addition, he forged on despite so many Americans not respecting nor caring about his accomplishments-especially since those accomplishments are helping those same people.

This is just how we HOPE ALL people think and do. We all hope that the people talking sense is getting through to the ones we want it to reach. But at 66 now I'm more inclined to reflect on something Bob Dylan sid. "Listen to the people not listening". We just need to hope we all vote to keep the Republicans out. Or I see problems that we may not recover from. Jo Biden talks the common sense and hope we need.

When I was very young we lived in Spain during the last few years Franco was dictator. There were no freedoms. The Guadia Civil didn't need search warrants. Charges could be false. Most people were poor and lived in an atmosphere of oppression. All these and more during the last years Franco had lightened up on political enemies, real or perceived, that had previously been hunted down and murdered. When we'd come home to the USA, I appreciated our freedoms a helluva lot more. Americans now have a clear choice for what kind of future they want for themselves, their children and grandchildren. Freedom or oppression. 💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲💙🇺🇲

Say not the struggle naught availeth. The labour and the wounds are vain The enemy faints not nor faileth And as things have been; they remain. If hopes were dupes fears may be liars It may be in the fog and smoke concealed Your fritends chase even now the fliers And, but for you, posess the field. For while the tired waves, vainly breaking Seem here no painful inch to gain, Far back through creeks and inlets making, Comes silent, flooding in, the main. And not by eastern windows only, When daylight comes, comes in the light, In front the sun climbs slow, how slowly, But westward, look, the land is bright. Arthur Hugh Clough

Deja Q Episode STTNG script. Twould that it twere so simple. Q2: There's still this matter of the selfless act. Now, you and I both know that the Calamarain would have eventually destroyed the Enterprise to get to you. And that's really why you left, right? Q: It was a teeny bit selfless, wasn't it? Q2: [exasperated] GRRR, yeah, and there is my problem! See, I can't go back to the Continuum and tell them that you committed a selfless act just before the end. If I do, there's gonna be questions, there's gonna be explanations for centuries!

the fact, that america still has a two party democracy and the unbelievable thing of someones vote having more power than someone elses, just because they live in different regions is frankly insane. no one living in a democracy would call that a democracy, when the count of a vote is regulated by the party governing the state.

Star Trek The Next Generation series via Psych. "Hill" memes. No offence. Nature abhors a Vacuum Cleaner Q Continuum. Suckers! Q: [having just had his powers reinstated, Q shrinks the Calamarain into a floating cloud just above his hand] If you think I've tormented you in the past, just wait until you see what I do with you now. Q2: [giving a stern warning as a floating head nearby] Q! Q: Just checking to see if you were still listening.

Is the Presidential pardon power a "core" presidential function, with absolute immunity? It's granted under the Constitution. If so, can a president pardon himself or herself for federal crimes? There's nothing in the Constitution to say otherwise. If so, then presumably the absolute immunity granted to presidents for presidential actions by the Supreme Court can be also extended to a president's personal acts where they violate federal law (the presidential pardon power does not reach to state crimes). The Supreme Court has opened the door to this possibility; not only would a president have absolute immunity for presidential actions, but also freedom from consequences for many personal actions. On taking office, a president could give himself or herself a blanket pardon presumptively; no need to be tried and then self pardoned, they'd simply be untouchable except for state crimes.

I was listening to President Reagan, while he was asking for the world to be turned down. I was watching when the young people were hammering the wall I remember when they saw the pieces of the wall or they took it as a souvenir I cried as I Collett happy cry, and I was not even 1% involved in politics, just thinking of a comfort and freedom of people. I have no idea what the Republican stands for a such except capital punishment was the main thing which I was disagree with. I like the Democrats but I didn’t like that much freedom of protesting altogether. it was good old days, I am fortunate that experienced all those things now at this age every hour of the day I have to listen or watch the headline to see what will happen if Trump come back to White House because I know evil I know wrong from right I know corruption, I know lies from the truth Him and the people that are surrounding him now or his type of people I could never believe that they can be Americans never they’ve been brainwashed by the lies and deceive is sad and pity. I don’t care who goes in the White House Democrat or Republican as long as the decent corruption is coming so deep in USA that Elon musk young men, but who has no clue just spying the world and people with money this was not America that I remember 1962 when I came in here

Hopefully we still can change, hopefully after Trump carnage of the darkest political time in the history of USA we can have some peace and very relaxation. I’m too old to enjoy the result with them wishing and praying for my sons and my granddaughters to have America back the way it was regardless of political disagreement and ups and downs of the financial world and everything else still life was absolutely beautifulin the USA but not anymore we should just hope for the best. If it doesn’t happen this November, we are all doomed.
