Back in the days before meds for AIDS, I used to do voluntary hospice for some friends as they were dying of the disease. It was heartbreaking to see. One man turned chartreuse! I had never seen anyone turn that color. Another man's mother came down from Maine to Virginia to be with her son in his last days. He was terribly ill and weak. She sat on the side of the bed reading poetry to him. Another man scooted across the bed and put his head on my lap. He started to talk to his mother but he was unintelligible. After he fell asleep, a roommate told me that he thought I was his mother and he was saying that he'd be seeing her soon. She had passed several years before. As difficult as it was and how many tears I shed, it made me a much stronger person. A better person. Thanks to Dr Fauci for caring so deeply about humanity … & me .

I thank Dr. Fauci for his dedication to helping me and millions of my neighbors. As an older person with pre existing medical conditions who was warned I was more vulnerable to dying from Covid. I received my vaccines as soon as they were available in my city. They were available without financial cost to me. I joined my elder community of many thousands and received my shots that were both painless and devoid of side effects. If more shots are required I will be getting them. I would like to say a big thank you to Dr Fauci. We are from the UK but are quite aware that his work has reduced the spread of covid around the world. Without Dr Fauci's work, America could have been a very large source of Covid, further spreading new mutations across the world. Thank you Dr Fauci.
