@dellheewey6 жыл бұрын
Have you read Senator Sanders' plan? Voters comparing Sanders and Hillary Clinton, who has proposed bolstering the Affordable Care Act rather than replacing it, should be clear about the choice they face. This isn’t a contest between a candidate who can deliver health care nirvana and one who is willing to settle for less. It’s a contest between a candidate imagining a world without political or policy constraints, and one grappling with them; between a candidate talking about what he hopes the health care system will look like someday, and one focused on what she can actually achieve now.

Not really, we hate Clinton we agree on this but... Bernie plan is unrealistic when it comes to funding (you can not fund a 60 trillion plan), and when it come to getting it passed (good luck getting congress to pass it). Now we are in 2020 where we see again that his plan does not work and is completely imaginary and building on Obama care and improving it seems a lot better than destroying it and closing a public option and that is why everyone who ran for a state with it had a hard time winning.

I am for improving Obamacare (that is the law of the land) and keeping Medicare, Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program, etc. Senator Bernie Sanders' plan will destroy all of them and siphon off their funds to his plan. (Read section VII of his 2017 plan) Sanders says the states would jointly administer his single payer healthcare plan. There are 33 Republican governors who are against his plan. How will that work? He said details would be worked out in the legislative process-have the last 10 years of obstruction by the GOP just whizzed past the Senator? And up to now his plan doesn’t have a budget. The last time he tried this (in 2016) his bill was estimated by the Washington-based, left-leaning think tank Urban Institute's Health Policy Center to be 18 TRILLION dollars OVER budget. And he wants the taxpayer to pay for every woman's abortion. How would that get thru Congress?

With a single payer system, all you do is show up at the hospital, and you are protected for as long as you need treatment. Most people rarely follow up with care because of the high costs. When people are sick, they cannot work, and when they cannot work they cannot afford to continue paying these greedy insurance companies. Housing sales are red-hot. In 2011, houses for sale were on the market an average 84 days. This year, it’s just 45 days. Illegal immigration is down 67% since President Trump’s Inauguration. The Wall is going up as we speak. I just saw it with my own eyes. NATO announced Allied spending is up $10 Billion because of President Trump and we arent being the piggy bank for everyone else. After being nominated by President Trump, Constitutionalist Judge Neil Gorsuch was confirmed and sworn in as Supreme Court Justice in early April. The President has signed 66 executive orders, prob more by now, and memoranda and proclamations as of April 19th, including: * Notifying Congress of a strike on Syria after it was reported that the country used gas on its citizens. * Dismantling Obama’s climate change initiatives.(Galveston Tx should be under water by now yet water levels are at the same height as it was in 1985) * Travel bans for individuals from a select number of countries embroiled in terrorist autrocities. Go to thereligionofpeace.com if you still think Islam is for peace. Youll find next to nothing gets reported and why Trump wants Americans safe. * Enforcing regulatory reform. * Protecting Law enforcement. * Mandating for every new regulation to eliminate two. * Defeating ISIS. * Rebuilding the military. * Building a border wall. * Cutting funding for sanctuary cities. * Approving pipelines. * Reducing regulations on manufacturers. * Placing a hiring freeze on federal employees. * Exiting the US from the TPP. In addition to all this, the President has met with many foreign leaders from across the globe including Xi from China, Abe from Japan, etc. No one knows why Obama.got the Nobel Peace Prize. He bombed more countries w/out congressional approval then last 2 Presidents combined but his Msm wouldnt report it. Trump will get the Nobel and for actually creating PEACE. Eugene Delacroix she’s not wrong that conservative dems voted against it.

She’s talking about how President Obama vetoed but Bernie would have donee the exact same thing. Bernie is going more descriptive of how to improve lives. Hillary won’t acknowledge the mistakes Obama has made.

Healthcare, Obamacare was a really great endeavor taken on by the Democrats. But it also exposed their weakness and it has been their weakness going on for sometime, I would say ever since Bill Clinton and his third way approach defanged what the Democratic Party pre 1992 looked like and that is a party that controlled both houses of the legislature ( if you can believe that) but were perennial losers to the executive branch (Nixon through george bush the first the only democrat to see the executive seat in three decades was Jimmy Carter and that was largely due to the corruption of Nixon and the pardon by Gerald Ford, a national cleansing if you will). To get back to my original point Obamacare was a step in the right direction, but it was not the finish line. And although this prized law was the really first big legislative win for the democrats since LbJ great society it was written largely by lobbyists and is really an example of how the democrats for a generation have been consigned to go the path of least resistance. That is why it is time to end the Democratic Party for something bolder, because they have no answers I feel every time the republicans push they just give. Infact you can say political parties of every stripe have an underbelly to them which pull power to there center rather then out to the people. End the Democratic Party if Hillary is ellected she will just incur more wrath from the peanut gallery, the Obama truthers are now Hillary truthers just more of the same from the Alex Jones crowd. Having a Trump presidency would be like pulling of the bandage in one motion rather then the Hillary Clinton/ Tim Kaine acquiescence to their demands drip by drip. To paraphrase the Joker in the 1988 Tim Burton movie this nation needs an enima, it needs the realization the only a megalomaniacal character that Donald Trump can bring out to see itself in the mirror and what it has become. I was never a Bernie or bust guy but there it is.

"Obamacare was a really great endeavor taken on by the Democrats." No it wasn't, Mathew. The ACA was enacted as a corporate solution to the problem of everyone being up in arms about health care issues like pre-existing conditions. The ACA is crumbs, and a signal to the little people that they should STFU. Please, please never forget that the ACA is a right-wing health care solution thought up my a right-wing think-tank, okay? Please.

Thank God she didn’t become president. I had Obamacare and it wasn’t enough, it doesn’t cover a lot if things

I"m not a Hillary Supporter. But - for some reason. I want her to wear black leather boots, a tight black business suit...and I want to be called into her office and I want to be told I was bad.
