Yeah, it's an "exaggeration" in that it's a literal blanking ad done by actors. But that doesn't mean the concepts it relates won't be enacted. Thinking otherwise is just wishful thinking. It's "first they came for x, and I didn't stand up because I wasn't x" thinking, deluding yourself into thinking it'll never happen to you. And honestly, in the age of Trump, where the alarmists who so many of us (myself included in days gone by) have desperately wanted to just be neurotic and hysterical screaming banshees, have been right time and again. So maybe it's time we start listening.

You should read the Constitution. If both people on a ticket come from the same state, the electors of that state can only vote for one of the two. See Amendment XII.

The concept of the ad was great but the acting was laughable, especially her looking into the camera. Hire better actors and make it less campy. It's a serious subject and they should make a commercial just as serious.
