He was a football star, a comedic actor and a violent domestic abuser. He nearly cut off a woman's head and left her body in a blood-filled yard while his two little children were left unattended in the house. The only reason the children didn't find their mother that way is because the family dog saw the whole thing and went to get help before the kids woke up. He then famously drove around for hours garnering sympathy from the public and convincing everyone that he's the real victim. The police took pictures with him and asked for signed autographs. Finally... justice for Nicole and Ron. Thank God for one less psychopath in this world.

Wow 30 years ago. This brought back memories of the entire experience from the chase to the daily trial coverage and the verdict. Shapiro, Cochran, Clark, Judge Ito, Kato and so on. I remember exactly where I was when this Bronco chase was broadcast live til the end. We were at Sam's Club in El Monte. It was on every TV there. My mother was glued to the set and I just went on shopping. She said it's oj Simpson. I said so. And it was on our TV at home throughout the trial. It's finally over.
