What a nice human being. Easy tempered, classy and polite. And objective was to focus on those with less means. Boy, we could use so.many.more like her today.May her soul be eternally blessed!

Yes, we certainly could use some of her class and humanity nowadays. Sheer greed seems to be consuming the US, but the Carters will always remain shining examples of what charitable greatness we are still capable of if we only learned to listen to our better selves with greater consistency. Mrs. Carter leaves a tremendous void in our nation's collective sense of moral purpose.

Rosalynn Carter was the wind beneath James Carter’s wings and like a breath of fresh air for our nation. She was strong and dedicated to her faith, family and nation throughout most of her life. We are grateful for her support and devotion to her husband and years of service to our country. This former First Lady was truly a steel magnolia. May she RIP. I'm not an American, I'm a Canadian, but President Carter and his wife Rosalyn were not strangers to this country, or to my city, Winnipeg in particular. They traveled here several times over the last couple of decades to help in building homes with Habitat For Humanity. They were both outgoing, friendly and obliging. In fact, they were the embodiment of Southern charm. My deepest condolences to President Carter, his family and to America. RIP Rosalyn 🙏
