Good review. I just wish manufactures would offer more colors like khaki for hot weather. Living in the Nevada desert tou really don't want the dark colors they all seem to offer.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm not sure why the industry is so obsessed with dark gear. I think bright colors are way better looking AND they don't blend into the background or cook you alive lol

It is surprisingly good. I've got the lower cost version now and while it's certainly not bad, it's no where near as nice as the Xplorer line.

Thanks for the review. I need to really at a minimum look into some adv boots before i try the T.W.A.T. I still rocking work boots and HWK pants for my rides and commute.

I did the same for a long time. Adventure boots really do have some great benefits, stiffer sole for standing on the pegs, waterproofness so you can easily inspect depth of water crossings and of course the extra protection! I very rarely ride without mine, regardless of whether I have the camera on or not.

I use Alpinestars Tech 7 boots with my KLR650. I'm 6'3" size 12 boot. I had to lower my foot pegs (JNS Engineering) and extend my foot peg (Tusk) to make it all work.

I probably should have worn them a bit and broken them in. I've got the JNS lowered non damped peg brackets but they still seemed tight. I'd they were rear set and lowered like the ones I had on my gen2 than I think I'd have kept them.

Looks awesome gear ! This show us that it isn't neseserly to spent 1000+$€ for the pants, 1000+$€ for the jacket on high name brands. Bravo and well done MSR, and i hope this brand to be available in Europe.

I kind of don't like that they directly vent I wish there was some sort of mesh netting to block out debris.

I am curious about the gps mounting. I have a Garmin zumo xt and would love to mount mine in the same place as yours. Any help is appreciated. Like your videos on the 2022 klr. Thank you

Thanks! I've got a few videos on it, just search swanky cat GPS. I usually just use action camera mounts, it requires a few modifications here and there but does offer a wide range of options.

It was actually kind of stiff right away but now that I think about it, that went away after the first ride.
