How did you do your header mod ? Do you remember what size drill bit for the flange ?

FZ KING I used a diamond dremel bit. Honed our each side of the whole until the flange slide on. Took awhile but they fit. I ran that setup for quite some time before going full Leo Vince.

R6 GUY thanks and do you feel any power difference in the 05 header than the Leo ? Well Ik the full headers will produce more ho but is it even noticeable enough to put down that kinda cash?

FZ KING you have to tune the bike when you do it anyhow. So you will for sure feel the weight savings immediately, then the tune/ecu flash will wake the bike up quite a bit. Yamaha limits the bikes quite a bit from the factory so that’s the big difference. I believe it’s around 5-6whp and the full Leo system is a bit more but pay a pretty penny. I wanted something that was very high pitch but clean, kinda f1 sounding. My Leo is close but would be even closer with full Ti headers which Leo no longer make 😔 I bought my 05 header for 50$ so it was well worth it until I saved up money. Get a decent slip on and run it
