My hat's off to you! My body is hurting just thinking of that many miles in a day. I use to put in that kind of miles but it was many years ago when I was a youngster.

Jim Hayes Hiking I’m not a youngster anymore. It’s time to slow down a bit haha. I was trying to train for some tough hikes this weekend and I’m still feeling a little pain from Sunday.

@@KeeFrHikes Yeah I took my grandson on his first backpacking trip over the weekend. My hip gave me a fit with the pain. I will be 60 in November.I was doing good until a few months ago and suddenly I have pain all over,lol.

Nice job! Congrats! Is there a legal campsite somewhere roughly halfway? I don't know if I can pull off a 27-ish mile day, but with the limit being a 24-hour period I was thinking of hiking around half over two days and getting some sleep in between.

pleasantfiction there are two campground but neither in the middle: Millers Campground near Doughton Park and Racoon Holler close to the Northwest Trading Post. I think either would still call for around 15-18 miles in a day.

Oh, I've seen the mapping of the hikes before but how do you show your Hike on the map?

I use iSkysoft Video Converter to create an MP4 of the file from Relive... I then throw it into my editing timeline in Final Cut Pro. A little trickery but I love having that with the video.
