It's not the fact women are talking about sexuality openly, it's that this is clearly written by a man who doesn't understand much about female sexuality. The ad actually starts with a woman openly giggling at a magazine ad for a sexual aid. The two of them start of discussing it in public, but then get all coy and whisper-y. It's like the writers only exposure to women had been through middle school coming of age stories and Sex in the City.

I just saw "Re-animater" and there's a scene in which that dialouge would fit perfectly. It's so nasty, i'm not even gonna describe that, but i will tell you it does contain nudity. now the doalouge would probley start out with Mike saying, "Well at least there's bare breasts." and Crow would say, "yeah, but at what cost?" and as that scene would progress further, the dialouge would be exactly like it is here.
