@@李文豪-f5i The 2nd Infantry make the deck more layered for disruption: Even if you opponent dark rulers the field (if they can even land it) The Abyss Dweller would have locked the GY AND you add infantry #2 into hand with the dragoon. If the board gets negated or Not. you can still pay cost! And so Abyssalicaia becomes a pop 1 trigger, Abyssrhine in GY is a draw 1 pop 1 trigger. Layered in different spaces. and you still have virtue Stream so there is literally 4 pops even if u get dark rulered.

@@MSTTV you dont need to play two. you can end with infantry in hand. you use abysslacia punt infantry search shadow guard. toad negate add back infantry. now you use abysshrine to punt body guards spec pike then pike eff punt infantry search whatever you need for follow up

19:00 you could also go into another bahamut, summon toad number 2 and then link off alacia/virtue/bahamut for zealantis because you already have the rhine in grave for the infantry pop or leave the bahamut on the field for target of the virtue stream I guess, but depends on the matchup whether the second toad or the dweller does more. kragen is very funny vs tenpai. love the card.

So what's the answer to mermails besides droll/fuwalos/shifter/going first? Mizuchi stops DRNM and Minstrel stops Nib and you get handlooped after that, so do you just pray to have Kurikara/Lava Golem?

Im not exactly sure how the ruling shakes out, but Artifact Lancea might be a good way to play theough shifter. I think you'd have to chain the lancea directly to the shifter in order for it to work, but that still gives you an out.

Lancea is not an out… lancea can only be used during the opponents turn.

If they activated shifter in their turn and u Lancea, Lancea would supercede the shifter for that 1 turn. HOWEVER, the turn coming back to you shifter is now live for the remainder of that turn

Gimmick puppet already literally FTKs you last format with protection. This isn't any worse than that. Game is just all about non engine right now. If you don't run enough of those you're just probably really screwed going second. Even some of the worst modern casual decks can put up a pseudo FTK board (hence why you see all those 1-2 card 5 negate combo videos for any archtypes that got new support within 24 hours) if not interacted with.

@@David-hw9si it's about toxic card design. Handrips, deck/extra deck rips, zonelocks, and summoning stuff to your opponent's field are the worst parts of the game. Also puppets folded to Ogre on the field or a well timed Crow/Bystial. TeamSam literally won a ycs last weekend with a full boardbreaker build.
