I think it's a great thing that tsx1 is giving smaller channels a stage to showcase decks and promote themselves. all the collabs sam does and has done since the cannel exists always put a lot of emphasis on this, and he doesnt even shy away from making a fool of himself to make other people look good. imo that always deserves a thumbs up and is worth supporting, thank you for the great content and initiative sam

Currently in Master Duel, I try to get sprite elf on field, use moon to get oppo to go minus 2, and use elf to bring diva back for syncro with moon or if I have the icejade I go into the icebarrier dragon and summon the general on my opponents turn to have a non targetable icebarrier dragon and a non targetable general to cause my opponent to have to discard more cards on their turn.

Another option I’ve been trying for the coelacanth build is a copy of fishborg harpooner. Since it’s level 4 and a tuner, you can use it for a bahamut play or synchro into a dragite for spell/trap negate and 3k body

Not really if you have minstrel. I mainly use it to bait out everything first because if you have Harpooner, or one for one, you can just special summon Nepta from hand or deck. Also if you have Absysrhine you can just tribute her off and get Coelacanth's effect and make a board. Megalo, and Teus with body guards will get you Nepta if Diva is stopped as well. You can add the Poseidra retrain to trigger Body Guards when it comes out as well. Cards like Eria, and Pot of Desires will bait out your opponent as well. What I've noticed is that people forgot about Mermails or they weren't around when it came out so they forget you need Diva or Nepta to go off so they hand trap all your other plays then you drop the Diva or Nepta. Rarely do they wait for the Diva or Nepta summon because often times they have to respond. If I activate Pot of Desires you're not letting me get that off as it means I'm out about to set up an impossible board or I don't have my starter and I'm attempting to get it.

@@martonyomchale342 Abyssshrine can only send Mermail or Atlantean monsters. You would just need another Mermail or Atlantean in hand and you could summon Deep Sea King and be fine. In this 50 card build I think Diva is good. But in a 43 or less card version, I would play one or none. You don't have to open prince in this deck to win, you have pike, teus, and shrine to get to the deep sea king as another win condition which is 9 copies of 1.5 starters, since you need to open water monsters with 2 of them and a Mermail or Atlanean with shrine. Plus, prince at 4 copies. Thats why this version is pretty nice, plus the 2 card combos with dragoons and shadow squad and discard outlet. And 3 card combos since pike or teus, plus water and discard equals prince as well since you can search shadow squad with them. that gives you 13 starter cards including one for one and the 2, and 3 card combos. At that point, I would play crossouts, or talents to help these combos go through or 3 minstrel. If you have room though, I'd say one diva wouldn't hurt.

First combo a misplay. Moulinglacia to graveyard makes you skip your next battle phase. You shouldn't remove it as material from from the XYZ..

If it said “you can only use the effect of bahamut shark once per turn” then it would be a hard once per turn and you would not be able to use it a second time. Because it only says “One per turn”, it’s a soft once per turn, meaning if you can get a second one out (like in this case) you can use the effect again from that one. Hopefully that clears things up!

This basically my brother's deck. He hand loops 2 and puts a super poly negate and other negates, along with other interruptions. He said he can do a 5 hand loop if he wanted to but that's boring as he prefers to fight the opponent so he only hand loops for 2 with the water Elemental Lord. The new support most certainly will make his deck even more deadly

Good explanation for the water newbs :D what I dont get though is why run all the bricks you possibily can and everything at 3 offs no hard decisions whatsoever expecting to draw handtraps in a 50 card deck and then to be competitive? Not to mention copying the same combos ive seen which are pretty obvious by design of the new support. Wheres the innovation? Why is our water community or whole ofyugioh like this. Just ripping and stealing off eachother presenting it as new. At least shire hasbeen loyal water deck player. But that is as fas as it goes. Back on the forums before youtube took over yugioh. the innovators and the competitive creative minds would get the praise and recongition.
