+omar aljohani I wasn't, but I was there as a student when MSU beat Bo Schembeckler in his first year at UM. We had a terrible team (only two Big Ten wins), and UM was great (only that one Big Ten loss), but WE WON. 1969. Still my favorite sports event of my lifetime 46 years later. Love seeing what Dantonio has done at MSU now. Go Green!

I was there at that Wisconsin game. To this day the best college football game I’ve ever seen. The lead changes. Multiple safeties. Blocked field goals and kicks and then the end. You never see all those things happen in one game

Yep..if you count those years when all the UMvsMSU games were played in Ann Arbor, UM picked their own refs, and MSU was the "MSC aggies." You can just pound your chests over that one!! How about 36-30-6 since MSU joined the B1G. That's the REAL record!! You guys can also call yourselves the "winningest program" with all your victories over Albion College and Pioneer High School as well.

My brother in law's family is divided between UM and MSU fans. That game they were all watching together and the UM majority were just bragging about how MSU had their few years of luck and that it ran out. Only like 4 of the MSU people (including him) were in the house watching the game that day and obviously were quiet the whole time. Then this happened and they were running around dancing like 12 year olds that just beat their dad at chess for the first time. Everyone else was in disbelief. It was glorious.

I was at work during the 2015 game against Michigan and got home to watch the 4 th quarter. I thought that game was over. I'm on Facebook by then talking my friends about the loss. I hear the tv guy get excited I look up and I see a MSU player picking up the ball running with it. I'm jumping up and down saying " Go! Go! Go!" And then TD! I was then running around the house screaming " Spartans Win !" Even my dog was going crazy lol What a game!

My old roommate from MSU was a big Michigan fan (go figure lol) and before that punt I went ahead and texted him "good game" congratulating him on the win then it ended up looking like I was being sarcastic or taunting him 😅

I was at every home game highlight with the exception of the 51 Notre Dame game. Wasn't born yet. Too young to watch the 54 Rose Bowl other than that game but saw all the other away games on tv. The first highlight I saw is still my favorite because it was the first. Levi Jackson going 88 yards and the upset of the #1 Buckeyes. Great compilation!!

This is great. Many thanks. I know it took a lot of time to put together. I like hearing the announcers, and the crowd. So many compilations are made unpleasant by music, usually bad, overly loud music. The only play I saw in-person was Levi Jackson's 88 yard run against Number 1 ranked Ohio State in 1974. As big, and exciting, as that play, IMO the last play, in which Ohio State was stopped cold from the MSU 1, and then didn't get another play off before the game ended, although it was close, and the ending wasn't announced until 45 minutes after the game.

I was there, too. I remember hanging around on the field waiting for the final decision. I also recall my roommate and I were going to leave the game before it ended, thinking Ohio State was going to win, to run an errand before the crowds headed out. We stood up to leave and just then, everyone else stood up and started screaming as Levi took off down the field. It was a strange sensation to stand up and then see everyone else jump to their feet. It took us a moment to realize why. I had the urge to say, "No, really, no need for you to get up". Great game!

The best games to attend in person are the ones that everyone will stay at the entire game for, even if it's a blowout. Michigan State beat WMU like 42-10 years back and we left halfway through the 3rd quarter (our tickets were free :P). But you know nobody even thinks of leaving when your team is blowing out Michigan. It's AMAZING.
@johnnyactionspacepnk8 жыл бұрын
Magnificent! I love this, 20+ minutes of Spartygasms! I was at the ND game Teague won on the 19 yard run on OT in South Bend. The Levi Jackson run and that game made me a Spartan fan. If you do add to this awesome collection after this regular season I would humbly and I stress humbly suggest the Denicos Allen 4th and 1 stop on Braxton Miller in the B1G Championship game and maybe the 4th and 1 goal line stand vs Oregon in this years game. Nobody better on 4th and 1 than MSU. Again, awesome job on ALL the MSU videos you make. Much appreciated.

I was at a good chunk of these games. Burress in 1999, Ducket in 2001, Teague in 2005, Blair White in 2008, Swenson in 2008, Caper in 2009, and Little Giants in 2010. Some of these are the greatest memories of my life just given who I was with and how amazing it was. I'll never forget how loud that stadium got when Duckett caught that pass with one second left, I was maybe fifteen at the time and I still remember it clear as day. My old man was on the sideline when Levi Jackson swooshed past for the 85 yard run in 74. The two of us were in South Bend when that 2005 game went to overtime. Very few people remember Michigan State blew a 17 point lead in the fourth quarter, my pop was so pissed he left the stadium, missed the game winning touchdown!
