It’s clearly a quick shifter. You can literally hear the difference between clutch shifting and quick shifting. Key point… watch his throttle.

It is a quickshifter, you're on about clutchless shifting, it requires to release the throttle for a millisecond and you shift up without using the clutch. His hand stays on the throttle continuously.

1. A waste to install a QS on a 300, it’s called clutchless upshift, auto blip would the smarter choice if you had to choose from up or down. Fun fact you can downshift without clutch also, auto blip takes more skill without clutch, a 300 is an affordable way to learn how to do shift up and down without clutch.

It actually wears your clutch down a tiny bit at a time. And just so you know, in his country an mt03 is considered a Superbike. Really rare there.

@@Hkgguyc I've heard from some reputable video on KZbin that you can let off the throttle or some bikes at very high RPM it also shifts very easily without clutch or throttle release... I'm too scared to try it with my DT175... I'm thinking now it's mabe when the engine starts limiting, and basically drops all the power that makes the shift possible... didn't think of it then... But this MT03 definitely didn't reach limiter to make that theory of mine true. But I agree, he barely let off the throttle. So there is something else going on there...

So you don’t have to pull in the clutch and let off the throttle to shift. Not really a necessity unless it’s a track bike for faster times. Definitely cool feature though
