I'm still in shock by the magnitude of these storms and the effect it's had on a lot of people. I can't stop thinking about it even two months later. I remember the moment the power went out and not knowing how much longer it would be out for. I was laying in bed on the verge of tears just scared about what could happen. School was canceled due to building damage, we lost all internet, and I couldn't engage in remote learning. To get anywhere we had to drive over down powerlines. '9/6/21' will forever be engraved in my head.

Hey Vaughan, I'm a student Filmmaker at SAE Melbourne currently involved in a Documentary about the Helmeted Honeyeater. We are interested in having a segment about the potential effects of the recent storms on the Honeyeater's Habitat, and was wondering if we could get your permission to use some your great Drone footage of the aftermath? Cheers, Louis
