Mt Lorne Ridge Loop - Whitehorse

Mount Lorne stands out on the horizon south of Whitehorse, Yukon. It has a fun scramble-y ridge that can be followed in a semi circular fashion, and my dog Nina was even capable of doing all of it (with a couple boosts). An intermediate level day trip.
Mt Lorne 2017m elevation. Prominence 1256m. 23.5 km round trip.

Nina is awesome. We have a small dog so she rides in a doggie back pack when we go mountain biking. She just needs doggles now

Awesome vid man. Anyone who would think that's to dangerous for the pooch doesn't know how physics works lol....um 4 stable points of contact at all times vs 2 stable points of contact means the pooch is twice as stable as you on that mountain ledge lol...expression stable as a mountain goat and all that lol

I love golden retrievers, they can be great for adventures. I think border collies in general have greater speed and endurance, like Nina
