Mt Pinninbar - first ever 4WD

Basing ourselves at Thowlga Hall, Corryong, we spend Easter in the Victorian Highlands. Camping with friends who are experienced at 4WD, we head off into the mountains and get to taste the beauty, dust and some difficult sections of tracks in the region.
The peak of Mt Pinnibar is definitely the highlight with incredible views but also learning to negotiate some difficult ruts required much concentration.
This area is so rich and diverse that the next video will feature other attractions in the area such as "The Man from Snowy River" museum and all things big.
It is safe to say that while we enjoyed our day off road, we recognise some tracks are not for us and never alone with our skill level.

Thanks so much. Was worried people would judge us for being on tracks that were too difficult for our level but grateful people recognise that instructors were with us to help and we took safety precautions. Cheers Sharyn

For a first go its good that it was dry.i would say a little A clenching on some sections but great views on the top.

Totally agree, would not have gone on that track if it was wet at our level. Happy to have done it and seen the Mt Pinnibar peak. Just making sticker for our van wall to say we did it. Cheers Sharyn
