That’s strange…. Other than the fact it is a one piece mount, there is nothing in common with the Game Reaper in either function or style

Raptor vs Pic Rail and quality rings... Pros/Cons? I assume weight is the primary benefit, but maybe more solid connection to the actions using the claws vs mounting screws of the Pic Rail...?

The one piece Raptor is designed to fit specifically on the Tikka system, whereas the rings have multiple connection points. Having one piece cuts down on weight as you said, but ensures a stronger connection with the claws. However there are a lot of well made rings on the market, and having one of our Picatinny rails on there is a great foundation!

@@mountaintacticalcompany Would be great to see additional ring size options. Most of my scopes are 30mm tubes, but I just ordered a couple that are 34mm, so that limits me to pic rail and rings as far as I know.

Hey Rich, Jason here back from the hunt! 34mm is on our radar. It requires a larger piece of initial raw stock and new fixturing. Here’s the question we have, and I’m interested in your input, since scopes with 34mm tubes are usually heavier, do those scope owners care about a lightweight mount? Cheers!

@@mountaintacticalcompany I’d say it depends on which scope. If I’m mounting a big 3 lb Vortex Razor tactical/target scope then no. But, some of their newer offerings like the Strike Eagle are smaller/lighter packages with a bigger tube, so maybe…
