I just ordered a MPA with you a few weeks ago. I have gained massive amounts of knowledge from your videos. Your videos and the effort you put in, did it for me. I got away from doing much shooting years ago, there were no kestrels, bubble levels, grid reticle scopes, tripods, barrel tuners, and shooting past 400 yds wasn't anything I considered being realistic. Shooting groups at 100 yds, maybe 200 yds was about it. then covid hit. I started watching your videos, I got a rifle and grid reticle scope, kestrel and started shooting targets 400, 600 and then out to 1200 yds fairly quickly- all from info you provided, and a some other awesome folks have shared. I reload again, lots of cool stuff to do when I can't go to shoot. I can't wait to get the MPA PMR II rifle, bipod and case, mount the scope and start working up some loads for it this summer. Seeing an American/ Veteran / family owned business succeed makes it even better.

You both were so hands-on and helpful for my order. For those considering a build, Paramount is your team of 'build consultants'. It took a good hour on the phone to get it all down. I lucked out and found a great deal on a MPA BA PMR Pro II in 6.5prc and absolutely love it. It's a hammer for sure, only thing I'm going to do is swap the factory barrel with a proof Carbon barrel.

Carbon barrel's are overrated and good for nothing but weight savings. Unless weight is a concern save your money. Unless you're buying it just cause it looks "cool."

I have to choose between coming out to train or a rifle. So I choose train to learn how to use the rifle first then I’ll get one

There may be some things I don’t like about it, but your Seekins is still a highly capable rifle. Even with all the little gripes I had about it, it is still better than rifles that cost 2-3x as much 5-10yrs ago. Upgrading your rifle will yield far less performance increases compared to training. A little update- with minor trimming the MPA EVG grip fit the Seekins and a Area 419 adapter for a Defiance action fits as well with the Area 419 bolt knob

You CAN use 300 Norma Mag for light weight ELR, but that is entry level stuff. If you want to go to King Of Two Miles you're gonna need a larger caliber and cartridge, at least something in 375.

You’re talking about 2 very different things. There’s a big difference between shooting ELR recreationally and shooting ELR competitively or professionally. First you’d have to define ELR and while there isn’t an official definition, most consider anything over 1500yds to be ELR. Can you even define “light weight ELR”? Are you a professional ELR shooter? Last I checked 1 mile is ELR and there is also King of the One Mile and 300 Norma is competitively used by many shooters. I guess if you want to one up in the comments for sake of one upping, you’re right. If you want to shoot 2 miles competitively there are more optimized cartridges. All of which you’ll be hand loading and are extremely expensive. All that said, 300 Norma is a very capable ELR round by anyone’s definition. But other than simply being antagonistic I really don’t see the purpose of your comment.

Are all incoming orders of MPA rifles utilizing ARC coup de gras receivers or are there options like Curtis and Impact? Also, do any calibers you've had built have any feeding issues? I have heard that many guns using AI style mags can be finicky depending on the cartridge...

All MPA rifles come standard with ARC Coup De Grace actions. I don’t know if Curtis is still an option. We actually have serval MPAs with Impact actions in stock. We just haven’t put them on our website yet. We typically sell those fast in the shop. The Coup De Grace is an amazing action. The impacts are as well. Both are upgrades over the Curtis IMO. The MPA with Impact actions sell fast because they typically take a year to get in after ordering. On top of what we order on the now standard ARC actions for store stock, we order several Impact actioned rifles for stock every couple of months to have on hand. I think we have something like 6 of those in various calibers for immediate purchase. If interested email [e-mail] and we’ll let you know what we have in stock. Custom MPAs with ARC actions have been being fulfilled surprisingly fast. Some have come in within 3 weeks of ordering.

With 338 Ultra Suppressor, NF ATACR 7-35, along with other accessories, upgraded and premium everything, it’s over $10K per. You can spend more or significantly less. Like anything it depends. Masterpiece Arms is a great company. Several years ago I ordered a 6.5 PRC for me and a .338 for my brother. Phil Cashin answered any question I had. I should have ordered a 2nd barrel at the time. It has the Curtis axiom switch lug. I am looking at maybe ordering a 7prc from them. Great company and customer service

I wish I lived in a free state so I could buy this rifle from you without all the red tape. Luckily I was able to find a LGS who could get me the rifle. I wish MPA put half the effort into their products as you do. Their online interactions and website are seriously lacking.

Despite my best efforts they went with MOA. 😂 I think it was the MOA-XT but I’d have to check. They wanted the Zero Compromise 8-40 in MOA which is being released this year but likely not until July or so and they didn’t want to wait. I think the ZC840 is the ideal ELR optic. Even more ideal if you get it with the IMPCT3X reticle. 🤣

Are these actions quick change?

Not technically but you can change barrels out in about 10-15 mins. QC barrels are not reliably accurate. You will never see a quick change barrel on a competition setup. Accuracy International and Barrett barrel switch systems are sold but those are $7K plus systems. The switch lug systems are horribly unreliable. With a barrel vise and the action wrench you can switch these barrels quickly and the accuracy and repeatability is guaranteed.

I have been seriously considering a Barrett mrad but hesitant on dropping that amount of $$$ on one rifle. @@revolutionanarchy713 well thank you. Based solely on performance, there’s no way to justify the cost of a Barrett but like a lot of things I own, I bought because I wanted it and it’s cool to have. You’ll get as much or more performance out of the MPA and if you want to shoot PRS or NRL, the Barrett isn’t made for that. Replacement barrels for Barrett’s are extremely expensive. You can get a tricked out MPA, a top tier optic like a Zero Compromise, all premium accessories, and custom case for cheaper than just the Barrett (depending on which model). Thanks for watching! Assuming, like you said, I have the barrel change kit for each caliber I want that is ridiculously expensive.
