@mountaintacticalcompany I mean they're good it's like a Remington,bergara etc but it will never match the tolerances of a custom it doesn't even match the sakos but for 800 dollars they're a great little rifle
@mountaintacticalcompany14 сағат бұрын
On that I disagree. I’ve been working with Tikkas for 21 years now and they match the Sakos except in furniture and are very close to custom action accuracy. Like 0.001” tolerances of customs.

If shooting suppressed i would not go bigger than 6.5PRC for spotting shots. The 308 Win cartridge family is a good option with the 40 some grains of powder. However 308 Win would be my last choice there. If buying factory ammo the 6, 6.5 creed or the 7mm-08 are the bst options in my opinion. Im not sure how available 25 creed ammo is but that would be a tough round to beat. If you were handloading I'd suggest going with the x47 case. In either 6, 25, or 6.5.

Boy I’ll tell you. Being humble and realizing your customers need and demand more from your company, and having the guts to restructure the company takes planning, communication, and basically looking in the mirror to reset your mission statement. I am a new owner of a Tikka T1x, and can’t wait to not only see your new product line, but your customer service, which is just as important, if not more important to a successful business plan. Don’t be afraid of change is all I can say. The most successful people I know have learned from their mistakes, and made the tough decisions and had the hard conversations to make their businesses successful in the long run. Best of luck in 2025!MyChristmas wish was for more T1x videos with feeding issues, and hope to see them soon. My Tikka T1x is a Tac driver, but still has a few bugs I’m trying to figure out. I need Tikka mags that are long action but will work with WSM brass. Factory "SM" mags work fine. I'm loading 300WSM-Long so I need long action mags but want to make sure you make them that will work with the 300WSM diameter. Factory long action Tikka mags are too tight in the rear for 300WSM. Causes them to pitch downward in the mag. Great company. Love your products. Thanks.

My weatherby vanguard had a similar stock reinforcement, I removed it. Glass bedded the action and also bedded 2" in front of the barrel recoil lug. Thing shoot lights out. Have shot over 20diff load combinations, worst groups I've see. Are 1" at 100 yards. I'm a firm believer in bedding out 2" past the recoil lug. A master gunsmith gave me the 💡 idea. it worked

@D-BOutdoorsIDAHOPNW7 күн бұрын
@johnabbott3896 I have both now and have found them both to be great. I have the CVA in 300 winmag and the Howa in .270. The howa is lighter shooting than my Remington 700 In the same caliber and is every bit as accurate if not slightly more so. .5 moa at 100. My Cva is FAR nicer to shoot than my Tikka and is exponentially more accurate. Just over .25 moa at 200 yard zero. The bolt is smoother, and the bolt throw of 65 is degrees is amazing with my scope caps. The stock is well thought out, grippy, and comfortable, and the recoil is light and manageable. I have a Christensen mesa chambered in 6.5 prc, and honestly, I would still take the CVA over it. My original comment was just addressing the high-end hype. I made the mistake myself. I held a CVA at sportsmans and didn't even realize what it was until I finally looked at the tag. I fell in love with it. 500$ out the door, so I was not expecting it to shoot better than my 3g$; rifle. I mounted a vortex viper on it and went out to the pasture. I had it dialed in after 5 rounds at 200! I took it on both my bear hunt and elk hunt this past year, and I loved how it packed. I hunt the sawtooth mountains in idaho, and we were getting snow in Sept. Even wet I had no grip issues and that cerakote kept me worry free. I took both game animals with it and my buck with the howa. I can proudly say I am now a budget buyer and will spend the extra ive save on a good quality optic and more relaoding equipment!
