After racing China Peak’s Round 1, Mt. Shasta was up next only two later for round 2 of the California Enduro Series. This video is my first look of the park & first time riding out here in Shasta’s infamous “Moon Dust”
I started the day on stage 4 following some good friends & it caught me by complete surprise being perhaps the gnarliest stage of the race. After seeing many videos of this place I can say first hand it was much harder and more difficult to ride then I expected! Almost felt like I was learning how to ride my bike all over again.. My bike handling skills were definitely being tested hard just staying in control and on top of the bike for the whole weekend.
I’m leaving most of the stages completely uncut for future generations of racers and riders who may be interested in seeing how I managed the stages for my first time. It’s pretty amazing how different practice day and race day conditions changed day after day!
This was a two day race so I’ll show stages 1-4 in this video & stages 5 & 6 practice in the next. I’ll conclude with my race day footage the same by splitting the stages in the order I raced them.
Big thanks to Brady @BradyNationsPhoto on Instagram for getting me this thumbnail picture from practice! He’s an excellent photographer & new fresh pair of eyes making us as riders look even better from his unique perspective! He’s got a link in his bio on Instagram if you are looking for any extra race photos of yourself from the event 📸
Hope you enjoy my vid and leave me a comment like or any questions you may have if you feel like doing so!
Thanks for watching everyone ✌🏼
