We recently made some upgrades to our Shop MT09 that runs one of our turbo kits , here's a video showing what we did including the dyno & track results.

Considering that it has a forged and studded motor, upgraded valve train, and a ported head, it's not that impressive. It's great power but it would never happen if the bike was stock. It would be throwing rods or floating valves and need more boost to make the same power even if the engine held together.

I think the R9 coming would be a pretty sweet place for a turbo kit. Imagine the speed that low-drag bike would achieve, and weight-forward bias helps keep the front down.

@@brianm5753 Incorrect. Mustang dyno are known to read lowers than the actual whp numbers . Something like 20%. It's still in whp, crank numbers would be "way" higher. I hope I make sense😂

You said you upgraded the clutch springs. I found 15% stiffer than stock on eBay for my z1000. Buying them soon because I’m a bit pudgy 🤣🤣 on my bike. Plus new clutch set. 201hp from a triple!! Wow. !! That’s a fast bike. Zx14r modded I’ve seen make those times. Wow. Fast bike ride. Ride safe.

We already run 40% heavier springs in the clutch, it really needs a lockup which is already designed, we just need the time to machine it up. The bike is making a solid 212hp on our low reading Dyno so it's no wonder the clutch is slipping

Amazing work, but the 9.8 quarter mile isn’t really impressive I had a fully stock engine 2018 MT09 on MR12 doing 9.8 at 133MPH. Now I’d like to see the turbo kit on a modded engine

@@extcreat I have a Yamaha Tracer 900GT with full Delkevic exhaust and got it tuned on a mainline dyno and it only put out 102hp. Does that seem a bit low to you or could it be some dynos read lower than others? A mate of mine has exactly the same bike and mods as mine and on a different dyno he was 115hp.

@@donnyazoff980 dynos arent a measuring stick, they all give different numbers. a dyno is a tuning tool, so dont worry about the exact number

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure that their dyno reads high on the hp numbers because 200+hp on a fz09? Not even Yamaha r1’s make that kind of power

Using a tune that is not made specificaly for a turbo setup can be catastrophic & will lead to engine failure, our tunes only work with our exact turbo & fuel system setup. If you order our turbo kit we supply a map with it.

Turbo kits are only for straight line because you increase bike weight and increase the wheelbase lenght so shitty handling for sure . I think superchargers makes better sense for bikes .

I don't see why anyone would make signals smaller than stock. Indicators can be a life saver not something to be removed for cosmetic or ego reasons.
