They really messed up with the newer XN40/XN60s. The air conditioning doesn't growl anymore and there is no axle sound anymore. Those were some really cool sound effects. I'm referring to the C40LFs from 2012/2013 Those MAN axles sound so intense like a turbine or something of that nature. I don't know why they simply didn't incorporate the same engineering into the Xcelsior models.

Those air conditioners make too much noise when they do that, plus they rearranged where the machinery goes to allow for a better cooling solution. On the XNs the air conditioning is way better for it. That heatwave a few days ago was too much even for these. Could barely keep a cool bus.
