Because of Randy's talent and soul, Jimi Lives on! I loved Jimi, and I love Randy. He is channeling JImi. Those 8 thumbs downs must be someone who never heard of Jimi. I saw Jimi in his last US concert. I hope to see Randy someday. I have saved my favorite videos for when youtube is no more. Jimi never played 1983 live, he was a master in the studio. He was just getting started with his music then he died. Randy plays that song live. Can't say enough good things about Randy.I am so glad he is still having fun.

I saw Randy play at a place called Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence in the 80's. There was hardly anyone in the bar at show time. Randy plugged in started warming up. He jumped off the stage went into the street while still playing and as he came back into the bar it was like seeing the pied piper. All of these people just started to follow him in. He was playing with Mitch Mitchell on drums. It was an incredible show.

The coolest cat to ever come out of Fife, WA. Some of my best friends/jammin' partners in WA were old school chums of Randy's. When he's not touring the world with his tribute band, or skipping across the country with Heart to Heart, he can be found playing local clubs in Fife and Tacoma. I love me some Randy Hansen. An awesome human being. Nobody can channel Jimi like Randy.

Dude, went to school with Randy and took guitar lessons with him from the great Don Mock....Randy went to Sealth High School and bused over to West Seattle High for a time...Everyone knows he's a West Seattle boy...The only things Fife is known for is Johnny's right off of that industrial exit...LOL!

Now that the showmanship! Just found out about this guy today (November 11, 2020)… Totally awesome to be able to start out with a Hendrix tune and then slide it into an Alice In Chains tune into a Led Zep tune. BRAVO!

That's not a Rory Gallagher strat. Actually, I'm almost 100% sure that's my old strat I sold him a while ago. Notice above the pick guard, you can see a lump of bondo that has a bunch of horizontal wide grain marks on either side of it.

OMG that guy has it NAILED! This Randy Hansen. I would imagine some people out there are thinking, "He's just a copycat. He's just doing glorified karaoke on guitar." I would hasten to point out that if that is the case, so, too, is a symphony orchestra playing Beethoven doing nothing but glorified karaoke. Soo, too,, were Vladimir Horowitz's redition of Mozart's compositions nothing but glorified karaoke. The thing is, the REALLY great music creators attract people who willingly dedicate much of their lives to imitating their works.

He isn't copying Hendrix, he is Hendrix. Not for real we all know Hendrix passed a very long time ago. What Randi is doing is giving him self to the Jimi Hendrix fans. It's the first and only time I have ever seen anything like this. This is exactly what Hendrix would look like today. This is the older version. It doesn't get any better than this folks. This dude is fucking AMAZING. Randi is the COMPLETE HENDRIX PACKAGE. SURE THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE WHO IMPERSONATE Elvis, Joplin, Reagen, Clinton, Tomlin, Einstin, Bush ect. All these people look and sound just like the real ones, but the difference is Hendrix is way better than all of them. In my opinion. When I watch and listen to Randi it gives me goose bumps. That's how I judge things. When it feels like that. That doesn't happen when I see and hear the others do there thing. I want to party with this band just for one night. OMG. THE THINGS THAT I WOULD DO.

I love my guitar and I was a copy artist for many years. I may have learned a thousand songs in that time. When I put something original down on paper it always reminds me of something I already know. I might be cursed by that because I’m always triggered by phrases like somebody says something and a damn song pops into my head! I love what Randy does and his dedication to music. Rock on, man!
