MTB Cwmcarn Twrch Trail

This is the second of the two red trails that I rode in the same day at Cwmcarn. Both trails are about 15km so if you only have time for one, which should you choose?

Wales knows what they're doing! I think I liked this trail more than the previous ride. Stupid question: Is the trail rating red above black? We do green, blue, black, double black in the states.

its Green > Blue > Red > Black > Double Black (only place i know does double black is Antur Stiniog)

@@kmtb2011 I know its a bit old now but I think they have replaced double black with yellow/orange not sure mate sorry if it wrong just what I've seen at my local bike park

The UK ranks the trails Green, Blue, Red and Black. That said, the Black on this trail didn't feel very black but then if I was riding quicker I may have been clearing those double hump jumps. Then at that speed it would have closer to black.

Alright Geezer, great video looks like some fantastic flowy trails. im quite envious watching you hammer through that. Nice bike as well. Aside from MTB'ing momentarily, personally I'm not a huge fan pasting music over MTB videos, how ever in this case you've done a wicked job!! Not only tune selection is bang on, but awesome stitching/ mixing together on top of trail & rider sound, mate nice one! Did you ride any where else in the UK? Theres heaps of quality single track all over Wales. I'm a Bristol Lad currently residing in Melbourne, my local ride is Lysterfield, as you have properly seen the trial's differ a lot in places.

Hi mate. Cheers for the comment. If you have a look at my channel, you'll get a feel for the places I've ridden. Wales is brilliant and I have t ridden enough of it...yet!!! Just finished the Trans Savoie race in the French Alps and met a number of lads from Bristol so hopefully they will be showing me more of Wales soon.
